The food and staff are excellent. Nice atmosphere and very affordable. We had a 16″ meat lovers with the addition of black olives and tomatoes. The pizza was good but what makes a pizza great is how well the leftovers heat up the next day. Their pizza didn’t disappoint. Fantastico!

We had the pleasure of having lunch there after a memorial motorcycle ride. Even tho, they were very busy, we had excellent service!! The food was hot and tasty and the menu had lots of variety. They also have beer on tap and tasty adult beverages. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. Next time we’re nearby, it’s a definite must stop.

Had a great time and food was excellent this past Saturday. Brooke took great care of us. We had fried ravioli and pizza. We are going back Friday night for the chicken Parmesan sandwiches. You get more than what you pay for. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is big, clean and friendly. Must stop by!

Excellent service. Delicious food. The salad was crisp and fresh. And ravioli with cheese and scrumptious tomato sauce was to die for. What a takeout feast it was. There was enough to share or to save until another night. Looking forward to my next visit.

We went today but the first time was in January. Here is the review I left on Facebook. We had family in town from our hometown Chicago&heard about a new place in Winder called Hero’s Pizza & Pub . We’re all about supporting local businesses. My Dad heard they have Italian Beef sandwiches&Chicago style pizza. We thought lets try&we were so glad we did. Adrian was our server. She went above&beyond. Being from Chicago my Dad wanted his sandwich a particular way. She actually went&got the owner Misty to make sure she wrote it down correctly. Once our food was served the owner Chris came out to see if we were all happy. We were more than happy. Not only was the food&service great but he shook my Dads hand&thanked him for serving as a Marine. Hero’s honors the Military, Police, Firefighters&EMT. How awesome is that! We can’t wait to go back. This place is the coolest.

I love this place! I love the atmosphere, the people, and the food. Winder needed a good place to enjoy Italian-style cuisine. I try something new each time I go in and have enjoyed all of it. The portion sizes are big, and I usually take about half of the meal home. Give them a try, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Very kind and attentive, stops by to make sure everything is great, and to show their exquisite food creations. Great family restaurant. You can tell they love what they do. I was taken aback by how huge the inside is. They also have a nice sized patio area in the back. We ordered the 12 inch, 4 meat pizza, and we were pleasantly surprised at the taste, and the quality of their pizza. It was so much pizza for 2 people. The staff are very courteous and attentive. We will definitely go there again.
