Just moved in to this area and I was looking for a Mexican restaurant. I happened to drive by the other day and saw “homemade tortilla’s.” It immediately called my attention. I stopped by tonight to try it and OMG the “mole de olla” soup is delicious!! It was so good my kids and husband kept asking me for some. The owner was so welcoming and nice.

My wife is sick and she needs chicken soup. Caldo de pollo. I found Fonda La Meche and called and they had soup. SO I ordered the caldo for wife and a carne plate for me. IT WAS SOO GOOD. I think my wife instantly felt better!! She said it was amazing and my Carne plate was incredible too!

I’ve been a customer of theirs for decades and I can’t recall a single bad experience. All their dishes are flavorful and have a homemade quality to them. I highly recommend the “chilaquiles rancheros,” its a great way to start my weekend mornings along with a cup of “cafe de olla.”
