Very good value and fresh sashimi. What I like about it, is the chef ‘works’ on the fish, in the sense that they age the fish, and they pair the fish with different seasonings or herbs. Their omakase is about $50, 16 pieces plus 1 toro scallion sushi roll, so very good value.

I have only been there once for dine-in and had couple takeouts but they have one of the BEST sushi I have ever had. I’d also like to add that I was born and raised in Japan, yet I still think they are the best. If you like “rainbow sushi” or whatever asian fusion stuff, this is not your spot. They are very authentic. I personally don’t think they are expensive either because of their quality. I highly recommend Azuma Sushi if you’re a true sushi lover !

I got sick. I’ve never been served bad sushi before and am appalled. I should have stopped eating when I smelled something funny. The chef used a lot of spices, which made me suspicious also, but thought it must be my imagination, since this is a reputable restaurant. I’ve been to many sushi places all across Japan and in the States. This is by far the worst.

very snobby. I asked about their rolls and the old man asked me have you not ordered sushi before? We ordered reasonable amount of sushi rolls but he told us that everyone ordered sushi combinations for dinner which is definitely false according to what’s on other people’s table. Sushi taste subpar. Avoid this restaurant if you’d like to feel relaxed and happy during dinner time.

Have been going here for around 10 years and have to say that it is honestly one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I am somebody who travels regularly to Japan for business. The food is obviously better in Tokyo, but for a Japanese restaurant in the US I can’t think of many that are better at the price point.Excellent quality, great owner named Tony, great server named Pablo, and just a nice overall place. Decor is nothing special but that’s not why you go here. They treat our young son very well. Very traditional Japanese food, the way it should be. Less sugary and savory sauce is smothered on the food then you get in most places these days. Thank God for that.

Some of the freshest and by far the most authentic sushi restaurant I have ever been to. The owner is from Japan and in the restaurant probably daily. This was to the best of my knowledge the first sushi restaurant in Westchester County. A must go for sushi and sashimi lovers! If you are looking for specialty rolls you will be disappointed because there are none.

I saw this five star rated sushi place and got very excited. For someone who lives in the city and go to many sushi restaurants, this place was a little bit disappointing in terms of sushi quality- fish did not taste fresh, rice not really sushi grade, good service

As one who has spent a lot of time in Japan this is as close as you can come to the real thing. Perfection on all counts as to freshness and taste.
