This particularTogo’s has been my place to go if I’m not in the mood for a crowd. The times I’ve visited the establishment its usually been myself and one other customer. So needless to say the wait is not long . Although I’ve not had the most friendliest employees wait on me, they are usually quick and except for the most recent visit , the sandwiches are GREAT. Yes , they are a bit pricey but usually worth it . Especially the pastrami!!!

Bought a family #9 pastrami it was greasy and uneatable called back to the store asked to speak with a manager she was to busy to speak to me I waited on the phone for over a half hour to speak to a manager but no one ever picked up I finally hung up the phone and posted this review update I finally got a hold of the manager and I had to bring what was left of my old sandwich back to get a fresh new sandwich so I will see if this one is better than the last sandwich I got from here.

I went in last night 1/14/23 around 615pm. I had ordered my sandwiches online for pick up. The woman who helped was a Mexican woman, I wish I had gotten her name, she was so sweet and although she had been there way past her shift time she went above and beyond to make our sandwiches. I appreciate her and she deserves recognition for staying in while others don’t bother to show up.

They have no respect whatsoever for two foreign visitors who just happened to walk into their store, period. We were trying to order a tuna melt, but the person behind the counter pretended to not understand English. So I had to repeat we would like a tuna melt. Then without any reasonable effort to communicate, she went ahead to make two tuna melts and insisted that we ordered “two tuna melts.” She seemed to be simply furious at the fact that we were even there. Unless you are local and you are white, I’d suggest avoiding the place.

No matter what this place never seems to give me a decent sandwich or good customer service. I will not go back. The food was very disappointing. The owner has a very unique way of telling you to f off he doesnt care. When I call with a complaint that my veggie sandwich hardly has any veggies when I specifically told the guy please make sure theres extra..I did not expect to be told “well whatever, I dont care you can come back and I can fix it” oh AND PULL BACK YOUR LONG GREASY HAIR. I used to love the sandwiches here and quit going about 6 or 7 years ago due to overall decline in service and product availability and quality. I finally decided to give them another chance. That was the very last one. My husband I both decided we will no longer ever give them another chance. The food was so sloppy and had a ridiculous amount of mustard on both sandwiches. We couldn’t even make out what was actually on them. The customer service was so rude and offputting I thought I was being taped as a joke. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EAT AT THIS TOGOS.

The older woman at the counter was SO rude. She barked at my daughter and I as soon as we walked in, acted like we were a total inconvenience to her when deciding what to order, and even rolled her eyes. We were the only customers in there, so it’s not like she had to wait 5 minutes for us to decide what cheese we wanted while other people were waiting. Her attitude was appalling. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the bread was fresh. I’m just going to go to the one in Atwater from now on.

I have been a fan of Togo’s Sandwiches since they first came out. The meat and cheese and produce are always fresh and top quality. I love the bread ( although they got rid of onion bread ) it’s always fresh and it doesn’t crumble when you take a bite out of it. The pastrami and swiss is my favorite. Although I can devour ham and cheese and the Italian too. No matter what your favorite is, your guaranteed to find something that floats your boat.
