This is the real deal folks. Once home to the Strater-Thorpe Drugstore, The Diamond Belle was restored to its saloon greatness in 1957. The decision was immediately successful and the saloon was full! There’s a lot of history in these walls (and ceilings). Come and “Belly Up” to The Belle.

This was the most inviting place in Durango. The atmosphere was wonderful, very professional. The girls looked so pretty and the man playing the ragtime piano music was very exciting and uplifting, just perfect! The food was fantastic, and the steak was prepared to perfection.

Went when they weren’t so busy in the early afternoon. Small but adorable bar. Awesome bartender was sweet and attentive. Made some great drinks. Will have to try the food next time. Was a very nice and cozy stop!

It was around 2:30, so definitely a late lunch. I ordered off of the app. menu – it was a Chicken Quesadilla and a basket of Fries. Amazing! The Q’ was packed with Chicken and the Salsa was so Good! The fries tasted like they were freshly cut to order.

Great themed Saloon restaurant. The waitresses wear corsets and father’s in their hair. Not historically accurate but fun. The staff was friendly and the service fast. We had the Idaho nachos, country fried steak and the Philly Cheese Stake. All were great for bar food. We don’t drink but if you do I’m guessing this is your spot. They had a love band that was good and on theme. They were closing early because of the weather. They were worried about their staff getting home safe and I think that’s great and says a lot about the management there. Would go back for sure.

The saloon itself is well decorated and gives off a cozy atmosphere with its red carpet and soft interior. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the building. It’s also located in a beautiful part of Durango.

Neat experience with a live piano playing. Customer service was great! Seated pretty quickly. The food was phenomenal. Chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection. Pot roast was placed over mashed potatos. Bourbon mix drink options were also great! It’s a little tight for seating though.

Excellent!! It was all pretty wonderful! The tables are packed in pretty tight, but the atmosphere and live music (they have played there for 30 years and lean toward bluegrass sounds!!) on Sunday nights make everything right with the world! Such a neat experience! Oh, their was this orange drink, maybe called an orange puff or something similar, that was delicious; I had two! Staff were great and dressed the part which is super fun!

Enjoyed this historic hotel and saloon type bar. I can see how it would be a lot of fun. Lunch was fine as were the drinks.
