Overall Thoughts: The atmosphere is really cool and hip. The food isn’t overwhelmingly great, but it is ok. Overall, I’d give this 4.5 Stars. The people are super friendly. I bet if you were coming in to have a beer and eat, this would be an awesome experience. The restaurant is pet friendly.

Service was alright. Food was good though. We ordered a 16’ pizza. Forgot what else we got but I think it was good. We had ordered some cheese pretzels or whatever they were called and the girl said they would come out before the rest of the food. They didn’t come out for at 25 minutes or so. I forgot how long it exactly was but the food shortly after. Not a terrible restaurant. You also have to bus you’re own table which was a little strange. Never have had to that in a restaurant before. Not sure if we’ll be back if we’re ever in the area.

What a great place! Perfect for beer, food, or just hanging out on their back patio. Most beer places aren’t really known for their food, but this place breaks that mould! We had the Korean BBQ sandwich with the chips and beer cheese, wings, and the melted mozz knots. All of it was delicious, but the beer cheese and the knots were excellent! This place is definitely going on our rotation of regular places to visit! Looks like they do live music and the place is plenty large enough for big crowds. The outdoor area is done nicely and creates a charming and scenic place for drinks or a meal. There is an upstairs area with darts that overlooks the stage. Staff was super warm and inviting!

We came in because they were suppose to have gluten free choices. Order 2 bowls of tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, one on gluten free bread which the guy taking our order said would be $1 more and sodas. . Over $40 with $6 tip. Soups came out but has only dry bread on the one that’s gluten free. Ask where grilled cheese was. Waited 15 minutes, soup cold and brought out dry grilled cheese, and said we would need to pay for it on our way out…. Meal was terrible. We waited on ourselves including getting our own drinks and condiments so not sure why there is even a place to add tips!!! One and done for the Mad Batter!

Bar and food service was great. The whole family loved their meals. The chicken curry was excellent. Pretzels were soft and chewy. My daughter loved her avocado BLT. Highly recommend the Noble Cherry cider. Never disappoints.

I came during the Sylva pride event, so I expected it to be a little busy. There was enough seating, and we were able to get cups for water. It took a few minutes to place our order, then about another 10 minutes to get our food. We ordered the tortilla chips with beer cheese and the bacon cheese fries. The food was great! I was not a fan of the beer cheese, it tasted like queso to me, but my boyfriend enjoyed it. The bacon cheese fries were amazing, the fries were crisp and the cheese and bacon went very well with the ranch sauce. I was able to take some leftovers home as well, and they did well in the air fryer.

The vibe and ambiance is absolutely awesome. Jarod was a great server. Hunter is the best pizza maker in western north carolina. We had a large pepperoni and an order of hummus. Just wow. Next time we will try other items on the menu. And the restaurant is connected to the Franklin NC branch of The Lazy Hiker. Great year round and specialty beers
