I flew in from Colorado and traveled from Florida to North Carolina, and this place hands down was the best food I ate that entire trip. The ribs, cole slaw, hush puppies and fried okra were heavenly. Sweet tea was cold and refreshing. Large portions, very friendly service and delicious food make this a “must go to” place. If you’re in the area I highly recommend you visit. I will return as often as possible. Gratitude to Big Bob for excellent food.

OMG!!!! I can’t tell you enough about how much I enjoyed this place!!!! I had heard great things about it but wanted to try it for myself. I believe the lady’s name is Angie greeted us with such a sweet spirit and shared in our enthusiasm about what we were going to try. I’m a big southern fried girl and pork chops are a MUST! I am also a Mac ‘n’ cheese connoisseur! I got the porkchop plate with Mac’n’cheese and corn and an order of onion rings….don’t judge me! My friend ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger all the way and the appetizer size cheese fries. They brought the food out in to go boxes, not because we ordered it to go but because they give you so much they already know you’re going to need a box! One less step for all of us. To say it was delicious would be an understatement. It was truly one of the best porkchops I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a ton of porkchops! The best compliment came from my friend who said as he was taking the last couple of bites of his burger, “Its weird to say but I’m so sad that it’s gone.” That’s so seriously good food my friends, when your heart is a little broken that there isn’t any more. To the gentleman in the back, if you’re single….you don’t have to be!!!

An absolute fantastic local grub hub. Bacon Cheeseburger was enormous, juicy and delicious. Portions are sized well and leave you feeling full. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. Bob knows his regulars! Highly recommended.

I went yesterday after a hike, thought the food looked good…good does not do justice, it was delicious! I got the Chicken Philly with onion rings, and it was sooo good. Great atmosphere and everyone was pleasantly nice! Parking was good too.

Gotta say for the dollar you seriously get your money’s worth. My son loves going to burger joints. And, this one is burger king so far, lol. Big is so big you can’t see the bottom bun and with your fixings on it. It’s a rap! The menu has plates or sandwiches your choice. I wasn’t disappointed with the pork chops plate. Two big chops not the little thin chops most BBQ joints are ripping people off with. Cheese macaroni and green beans. I was done definitely going back again. Money worth it…………old school joints seem to keep it real!! ️ ️

I got the two pork chop dinner. Lawd have mercy, the biggest chops I have ever laid eyes on. Fried to perfection, tender and tasty! The mac-n-cheese was on point. Fried okra was a little too crispy/crunchy for my taste (some probably would have liked it that way).

They are really nice and down to earth me and my mom go their to eat almost every weekend and the chicken is always good umm I’m wondering how the cheese burgers taste because they look so good! I always see a lot of multi cultural people in in this black owned momma in pop restaurant and many people support them they are diverse and have good customer service! People also review them on YouTube check it out, that’s how my mom found out about it!

Hope you’re hungry! Great hamburger old fashioned hamburger. My husband and I split a cheeseburger. Even eating half I was stuffed. It was delicious. Got a piece of yummy looking red velvet cake to take home for dessert tonight.
