Beware of Darkness
I had never tried Bosnian food before, and a friend recommended we give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The man and woman who took our order were super nice, I’m assuming they’re the owners. We didn’t know how to pronounce anything on the menu, and they were super helpful in trying to help us learn. I got the cevapi, which were sausages on a fluffy pita, which was excellent! My wife got the jahnija, which was a lamb and beef stew with mashed potatoes and bread. She loved that as well! 10/10, would recommend. We’ll be back!

This is by far the best Bosnian restaurant in Saint Louis . My coworkers and I order her quite often and the food is always good. The restaurant is incredibly clean – the restrooms too. The wait staff speak Bosnian and English therefore if you speak either it will be easy to order. They are also very nice. The chicken sandwich comes with peppers and onions and is seasoned very well. My favorite item is the Pileci Paprikash – it’s seasoned chicken with a red spicy sauce- that comes with rice! It tastes amazing! I would 100% recommend this restaurant! The prices are also alot cheaper than competitors!

Very good food. A friend of mine who lives near told me to go and I was suprised. I believe it’s a family owned and run place and you can tell. It’s clean, the prices are low and your plate will be full. The soup tasted fresh, might be one if the last places that doesn’t reheat from a bag. The bread was baked that morning. I’m not used to Bosnian cuisine so I cannot compare to other similar places but I really enjoyed the new flavor combinations and new experiences. Will definitely go again!

Stopped here by recommendation while in the area for work. Ordered the Chicken A’la King which was served in a cheese/cream sauce with mushrooms and peppers. It didn’t disappoint and exceeded my expectations. Felt like comfort food hitting all the right spots. Will def be back to enjoy their Bosnian coffee before leaving.
