Really good food. Walleye, elk, and bison, were all delicious and i thought the bison had the most flavor. All of which were cooked to perfection. They have home made Cesar dressing which was great. Their demi glaze was packed with flavor. 4 stars just bc a little pricey

This place has the best food at Big Sky. For lunch their prices are very reasonable as you get a sit down lunch at prices comparable to crowded cafeterias but at a much nicer setting (the restaurant is beautiful). For dinner, they turn into a fine dining place with thing like elk, bison, trout and walleye that are very well cooked. I have been coming to this place for twenty years and they treat me like family. Kelly and Curly and their staff are wonderful. Strongly recommended.

The food was very solid, and the service was not perfect (e.g showed up with main course without clearing out appetizers first) but extremely friendly. The atmosphere was definitely strange. As my daughter put it, it felt like a cafeteria that was converted into a restaurant. But overall we definitely enjoyed our meal and would return.

We sat at the bar. We shared the bison prime rib & Cabin salad. Both were delicious. Best meal we had in Big Sky. Definitely make a res early if you want a table. Bartender gave great service too.

Great management but not the best food. I know elk isnt exactly like beef but I want it cooked how I want. Raw and chewy is not the way I like my meats. Waiter seemed slightly overwhelmed by our hesitation between the bison burger and the elk.
