Neat place to stop for a bite and some icecream. Portions are generous, and tasty. My Son had a very nice burger, and I had an order of onion rings. Everything was very good. Got a chocolate malt… Very Very good. The icecream was smooth and creamy. I think we have a new stopping point on our trips down this road.

Out of curiosity we stopped in for a shake, fries, and onion rings. If this was on DDD it would easily fall into the dive category but in a fun way. Staff was nice, the food was good, and the shake was basically thick ice cream… home made! The place was busy, lots of families enjoying themselves. We’ll have to come back and try the burgers.

I went inside and no one said anything to me, so I stood looking at the menu to decide what to order. I must have stood there for around five minutes (no biggie, place was busy, I get it) when a small group of people walked in. They were immediately greeted and told they had no place to sit, and it would probably be a 30 minute wait. When asked if they could get the food to go, they were told yes but that it would still be a thirty minute wait. That group left, and and I continued to be ignored. Not a good impression, and I likely won’t return.

My husband and I live 25min away and always love the excuse to come grab a burger and ice-cream! Tonight we took my mother here as she’s visiting from Portland. Great milkshakes and cute restaurant. They have a drive up and outdoor seating. You go look at the huge menu board then find a table. They take your order and it’s that easy. The fish and chips were ok, so was the steak. The witness told us they are famous for their burgers. So will try that next time. French fried are amazing.
