The food is high quality and the service is great. My favorite meats to get are the chicken and ribs. Those ribs have a lot of meat on em! I paid a fair price and still had some to take home.

This is what we locals call a hidden treasure and i can say if lippys bbq was not expanding I would not be giving this review due to the idea of keep it a secret, food and portions is out if this world the blue’s themed bbq joint is not only a place to belly up but a experience all of its own and the man and wife owners are the verry nicest whole hearted people one could hope to meet…

Nothing was bad. But nothing was great. Not sure if the brisket was actually smoked, tasted like roast. Ribs were average. If you are hungry and in the area its worth stopping, but to make a specific trip up from I80 i would say keep driving.

Wow!!! Ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with potato salad and baked beans. Husband had brisket and chicken with the same sides. It was simply amazing. Lippy’s definitely know their BBQ. The plates are plentiful and well worth the price. Memphis has nothing on this husband/wife duo. If you haven’t been out to see their new space it’s great!!!

INCREDIBLE! Normally, I like brisket…. I took a chance and tried all of the meats offered at Lippy’s. Excellent choice. The pulled pork was so moist and delicious. The ribs weren’t too smoky. My husband tried the Mac & cheese and was very impressed. I highly recommend a visit!

Nice atmosphere priced right with good service. Brisket excellent!Beans ho hum (pork n beans with peppers) sent cloudy tea back. Corn bread good but should never EVER be served ice-box cold but hang in there, we’ll go back.

First visit to the new Lippy’s BBQ. Like all BBQ it is a pit pricy. They have a lot more room than in the old building. We both thought that the meat was very good. They do not have a fryer, so no French fries. The service on this Friday afternoon was poor. Our server was not attentive at all. Had to ask for a menu, water refills and the check. Could be a deal breaker for us. Poor service in an almost empty BBQ joint spells doom.

We had a big enough group that we had to utilize the outdoor seating so it was a bit toasty but the food is fantastic! We fed 2 adults and one child with a 3 meat combo and a slider with side. Combos come with 2 sides and cornbread. I’m not a huge cornbread fan but theirs is pretty decent and for sides we did 2 Mac n cheese and 1 coleslaw. The coleslaw was a bit different than the standard found at like KFC, but it was really good! My husband and daughter liked the Mac n cheese, and I did try a bite and liked it as well. We had brisket, pulled pork, and the ribs for our 3 meats. Just the right amount of smoke flavor and beautiful smoke ring! Will definitely go back!

As a vegetarian, I never in my wildest dreams imagined that I’d be writing a review for a BBQ joint. Nevertheless, this place is so amazing I felt inspired to do so. My carnivorous cohorts rave at the deliciousness of their food. It seems as though they are constantly seeking to strike a balance between classic BBQ attributes and new and inventive recipes. Each time I visit they are extremely accommodating and always making sure I get full from all of their sides which are veggie-friendly. Everyone is welcome at Lippy’s, and everyone leaves happy!
