I was expecting a lot of the brisket from the other reviews. It was just ok. I should qualify though, I like my brisket naked (without sauce) so I really enjoy a spicy, textured brisket. This wasn’t that but it wasn’t bad by any means just not my style. The cornbread was the standout in the combo. It was perfect cornbread. It was a little moist, tasty, and well textured. I enjoyed the broccoli salad too. It was just a touch sweet and was a good finish to a heavy meal.

Outstanding Roadside BBQ. Others should learn how these guys do it right. Great smoke throughout each piece of meat. The Pulled Pork was tender and not overly sauced so you could taste the meat. Delicious Dry Rub St. Louis Ribs just fell off the bone. No sloppy sauce on my fingers but they had delicious sauces for dunking. The Smoked Pastrami was to die for and turned out to be my favorite. Freshmade Amish Potato Salad and Shoestring Onion Rings were tasty and went well with the meats. It was also nice meeting the Girls and Chef Randy while I was there.

My absolute favorite thing on our menu is the 2-meat combo with pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac & cheese and onion rings. Mild is my favorite sauce, but I like to mix the blueberry and mild together too. I’ve been working here for about 3 years now and I’m still finding different things on the menu every day I like to mix together and try! I love the food and I couldn’t ask for a better place to work while in school.

Outstanding service from the initial consult to shaking hands at the end of our event. I contacted Brian (Brother Bear’s BBQ) with a tight turn around schedule – 14 days before our open house event. He provided quick responses, highly knowledgeable advice, and a terrific personality from start to finish. Brian helped us to execute our vision and make our event something for everyone to remember – people are still talking about how much they enjoyed the BBQ! Brian and his wonderfully staffed team were very attentive, friendly, and courteous the entire day. I highly recommend Brother Bear’s BBQ for any and all of your catering needs.

This is the worst barbecue I’ve ever eaten. In fact couldn’t eat it. I would advise anybody to stay away form this god awful place. If you’re looking for dog food, it may work. Don’t think my dog would even eat this swill. To sum it up, Brother Bear’s should be called Brother Keep on Trucking to a different barbecue joint. No rating. Stay away!!!!!
