Know a regular who recommended the place. Stopped in with the family for quick bite. Got off on the wrong foot with the bartender because we called out she made the drinks wrong. How hard is a gin and tonic and a Tito’s and soda? After that she ignored us for the rest of the dinner, despite the waitresses effort. Food was decent. Won’t go back based on that bartender’s attitude. So many other restaurants in the area… give another a try.

We have been coming here for years, watching the waitresses and female bartenders work together to get people served since it is so popular. Tonight we had a party of six. There was a 4 top available and several seats open at the bar. We were turned away immediately at 8:15 and were told that we could not get in to eat before last seating at 8:30. He didn’t ask if we could split up-just turned us away saying sorry sorry sorry…..can’t do it too busy….packed in here….blah blah. Maybe you need a better problem solver especially when seats are open. Won’t be back. Literally been coming here forever.

Always a great meal. Small restaurant with a small but awesome staff but they do a great job. Kitchen staff puts out great meals. Always hot and tasty. Has a bar. TVs. Can be very loud. So know that it won’t be a quiet meal. But definitely worth going. Highly recommend!

Small, local bar/restaurant. Outside looks shabby; inside great atmosphere. Owner personable and down to earth. Food, I had shrimp and grits, was awesome. Beer selection was good. I’d go back again, but give yourself some time as it was crowded and we waited for a table.

We ate here on our way home from Wilmington. Long story short, the clam chowder was outstanding and the rest of the food was okay. The waitress (blonde hair with glasses) had a horrible attitude. She consistently ignored us or if we asked for anything she had a nasty/snappy response. We won’t be coming back nor telling our local family to visit.
