Owner is super nice, had chips and salsa with breakfast which was delicious. Ordered the breakfast burrito with eggs and bacon. Soooo Good!!!!! Definitely will be my new regular place.

My husband and I had breakfast there. The food was very good at a reasonable price. The wait staff were good. A big plus to us, the cleanliness of the place. We have not been to such a clean place in Nacogdoches. The table, the walls, the floors, the baseboards all clean! Everything but tables are all too often left unclean at most restaurants, but not here! Amazing!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a year. Since the new owners took over the food is even better. the food is consistently 5 stars. Home cooked, good quality meats and cheeses, home made tortillas and for my preference the food isn’t that greasy. I recommend the Gorditas, chilaquiles, tortas, tacos, quesabirria, quesadilla & the tamales!

Second visit. First time lunch. Had Birria tacos and really liked. Breakfast today & had Huevos Rancheros. Had flour tortilla substituted for chips under eggs. Food was good. Service is the standout here. Nicest people. Definitely come back again. Don’t judge serving size by my pic. I had already eaten half. Plenty of food!

The hostes was extremely rude and unfriendly when we entered at 7:30 on a Saturday night. She informed us that we would have to get our food to go, even tho the sign in the window read open. We ordered several meals to go, and when we finally received our food, all portions were very small. When we inquired about why our order of queso did not come with chips, we were informed that chips cost “extra”. When asked why they didn’t specify that queso did not include chips beforehand, I was told, “I don’t have time to deal with this” and asked to leave. The quality of the food was bland and mediocre at best. I would strongly recommend eating anywhere else unless you have a preference for rude staff, small portions, and bland food.

Everything we tried was phenomenal! The homemade tortillas were hot, soft, and the perfect flavor and consistency, very authentic. This is not your typical TexMex restaurant, this is authentic Mexican prepared my ‘Mama Barrera’ and ‘Mama Maldenado’. New favorite restaurant!
