Small family business. Don’t let the small shop fool you, the food is indeed made with quality Italian products. The man doesn’t hesitate to up the ingredients on the pizza.

We have been ordering from Anthony’s since I was a kid, like 30 years and we always loved their food. We used to order it almost once a week for awhile. The quality did seem to go downhill for awhile and I was disappointed with service so we did stop ordering from them for a little while and recently decided to give them another chance. The quality was back to what it used to be! So happy, our pizza was delicious and we received great service! So glad our favorite pizza place is back and we can order from them again because we love them and haven’t been happy with other places, it’s just not the same!

First time ordering here. There’s a small seating area in the restaurant so I’d recommend taking out but it is cozy if you want to eat in. I’m not a big fan of the doughy crust but the pizza was good. The owner, though, was extremely friendly and helpful. Quality is much better than some national chains and the price isn’t all that much more.

It’s the small family-owned pizza restaurants that Chicago SHOULD be known for, since they vastly outnumber the big-chain pizza stores. Anthony’s Pizza is a great pizza place. This place has great thin crust (!) no fuss & no muss. Prices are reasonable and wait time is pretty good. The major downside is the location. If you blink, you’ll pass it, and you can miss the place even with the most current map app.

Had Anthony’s delivered to my hotel on an overnight layover. Good, hot pizza – plenty of cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. The sauce was pretty tomato based, and could use a little zest. The crust was flaky and well cooked. The garlic bread with cheese was like a hoagie loaf – good garlic taste and plenty of cheese. (No sauce with it, just an fyi). Delivered in the time frame quoted. My only gripe is that there’s no online menu, and the hotel had no menus, so I had to wing my order. They did bring a menu which was outdated, pricing wise, but I’ve included pics for you to have some sort of idea of what they have and how much you’ll kind of spend. I would order it again!

Another review also mentioned how prices are different than many of the menu pictures posted. We are attaching the prices we saw when we got food here June of 2022. Pretty steep increases. But we were willing to give it a try. We got the calamari, which was pretty bland. That’s ok, can’t expect a good calamari from a pizza place. The pizza is extremely thin crust. Someone in our family said it was “one of the best pizzas they have ever eaten”. I respect that, but it wasn’t for me. The under side of the crust was very dry. It may be the style, and if so it is not my type. We also found the toppings to be pretty scarce. Cheese being the exception. I can see how others love it, just wasn’t a good fit for us.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Love how it’s thin and crispy from the bottom not like other places.
