Would not return got a bowl of sweet and sour sauce and it was cold so made our food cold rice is either old or over cooked. Asked for more than 4 packs of soy sauce and was only given 2. I’m so sick of these Chinese restaurants being stingy with sauce and we spend $30 and up on food with them. I feel like we need to go on strike because that’s not how you treat people keeping you all employed

If you’re looking for reasonably priced Chinese food, China One Express is the go-to! The Chen’s, who have recently taken over the restaurant are great owners, and they always prioritize customer satisfaction. As well as improving their existing menu items, they’ve also added some authentic Chinese dishes. Be sure to try their Jumbo Shrimp Fried Rice and everyone’s favorite, General Tso’s Chicken! Their Crab Rangoons are also a must!

China One Express is a take out type of place, or perhaps like a food court type of restaurant with out the food court. When I was there last there were no tables just chairs, may be due to pandemic restrictions? The food there was good, very tasty and fresh, but last time I was there they had no prices on the menu board, you had to ask and I didn’t like that. I was not crowded though so it was easy to ask. The staff was reasonably friendly and nice. The food was delicious but a bit pricey for a quick lunch as it was 8.75 for the veggie stir fry and like over 10 for the moo goo gai pan… but it does include a large portion and your choice of steamed or fried rice. Tasty food.

Don’t let the average number of stars fool you, this place is really good! I was driving by picking up some printing next door and decided to give this place a try since I haven’t had Chinese food in a while. The guy who helped me was very friendly general tso’s chicken crab rangoon and white rice are delicious! It might be helpful for them to turn on some music, but otherwise I enjoyed my experience. ❤️

We found out about China One when the pandemic lock downs hit. We tried Door Dash for the first time, and being night owls, it was the only thing open one night. I have been impressed from the start. We now drive the extra distance to get their food. I like Shrimp Fried Rice. They use the bigger shrimp which always appear fresh. I’m told they hand peel all shrimp which adds to the flavor. They miss the good quality of seafood they got in China. The owners recently moved here and are dedicated to putting out good, authentic food.

This is probably the top 3 Chinese places I’ve ever eaten. I love Chinese food so I I’ve tried alot. I ordered the small Combination lo mein and the portion size was enough for 2. Hot, fresh tasting and so tasty. Also ordered crab Rangoon and those were very good, crispy. The staff were very nice, answered all my questions, since this was my first time & respectful. I will definitely be back when working on this side of Overland Park again.
