I’m one of the biggest supporters of Scooter’s coffee however, my mind is beginning to change about the support I give. Multiple times I’ve been denied the use of my coupons received in the mail, able to receive reward points, and denied my rewards on my app. I’m continuously told with rude tone, “our scanner isn’t working”, “you can’t use that coupon unless it’s scanned into your app” then the app won’t scan it in so I’m denied the use of the reward, “it isn’t showing up on my screen”, etc. It’s frustrating that Scooter’s “gives” these rewards but you’re unable to use them. I’d rather support smaller coffee shops as they honor a points system, allow customers to redeem rewards, and if the “system isn’t working” they make it right with the customer. Friendly service would be a major plus for Scooter’s-this hasn’t been the case for me for the last hand full of visits. Not very pleased with Scooter’s services lately.

I can’t get a single blender or smoothie from this location without huge ice chucks to the point you can’t drink it or put the straw in. Today I asked for my matcha to be remade and it came back the same. Its worth it to drive to the spirit lake location if from Milford. It’s been a repeated problem here over the last year or better. Also, over $6 for a small smoothie is sad.

Visited the Iowa Great Lakes on 3 occasions this summer and each time decided to try coffee at scooters. They made errors each time. One latte instead of almond flavoring they used almond milk. Asked for a hot brewed coffee and they added milk. When I tried to call in an order ahead of time for pickup by my non coffee drinking husband and was told they were not able to take an order because understaffed. He later told me there were plenty of workers standing around. Not sure I’m giving this place another chance.

These guys are good. Extremely quick, very professional. Also, I have to add that their ordering speaker is crystal clear and customer/employee communication is amazing. A pet peeve of mine is a subpar ordering speaker/receiver and the phrase “what was that?” is over half of the conversation and they end up getting your oder wrong in the end. Wife and I are daily customers and will continue to be for a long time.
