Hands down the best pizza in Fort Wayne. Johnny is a true chef and takes pride in each pizza that goes in and comes out of the oven. With his extensive background in vegan food, make sure you try his vegan and vegetarian options. If you swing by M-F during lunch hours,

I visited Electric Works with my girlfriend to try Johnny Ox’s Pizza.

Looks and smells amazing! My slice of pizza was as large as the paper plate it came on. Sadly the pizza was only mediocre and not satiating. I would be interested in trying a pizza with more exotic toppings than just pepperoni or cheese. I went to Three Fires (first time at both businesses) afterward and had an explosion of flavor in my mouth.

I see the mixed reviews – so I have to add my two cents. I for one actually loved the pizza at Johnny the crust was nice and crispy. Great tasting pepperoni and cheese. I was able to fold my pizza and enjoy it. Definitely will be back

This review is for the Union Street Market location. I went earlier in the week with some friends and we ordered a pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately the entire pizza was badly burnt underneath. The fact that it still tasted pretty OK made me want to give them anther shot, hoping this was a one-off. So I stopped by today and was going to try a slice (note you can only get slices between 11am -2pm). They were very busy with a long line, and while I was waiting I noticed the cashier was handling the register and money and then picking up the pizza slices and plating them with without washing hands or using gloves. After seeing this multiple times I got out of line and got food elsewhere. I’m hoping the management will see this and work with staff on proper food handling/hand washing as well as making sure the pizza is not burnt. I really would like to try again but was pretty grossed out today.

Went to Johnny OX Pizzeria today for a pizza to go. Pizza was fantastic! Clear example of an excellent rustic/artisan style pizza. Great undercarriage with a little flop to it. As it should. The amount of pepperoni was well proportional for the size and the crust was chewy. The sauce had a slight kick to it. If you haven’t had the opportunity to give them a try put it on your list and see what you think of it. They have slices available so you can try it without purchasing a whole pie, but I’m pretty confident that you will.

Two pizzas. 26 dollars each. Both burnt to a crisp. The bottom was completely black on both. The girl working there is sadly poorly trained in the way high temp pizza ovens work. Based on the pictures, it looks like it depends on who is working if you get a good pie or not. The flavor was good, but the service was terrible. I sadly don’t recommend.

The best pizza in Fort Wayne, and it’s not close. Nice crisp and flavorful crust, good balance between sauce and cheese (too many American pizzerias overdo the sauce). I tend to judge a pizzeria by their cheese slice and Johnny OX has a great cheese slice (that I prefer to their pepperoni which was a bit too oily for me). That being said slices are only available for lunch (11-2) and you’re limited to just cheese or pepperoni which is a shame, I’d love to see their Green Ox added as an option, and for slices to be available lunch & dinner.

Born and raised in New Haven CT ( pizza capital of United states ) moved to Fort Wayne in February and this is by far the best pizza around . I’m baffled by the fact this place isn’t rated 4.5 or higher but I understand we got a bunch of midwestern Normie NPC’s that think little Caesar’s and Pizza Hut is good pizza . The clowns complaining about the price are the same ones buying frozen pizza from krogers. This place is the best in Fort Wayne and it’s not even close . I come in there weekly to get a pie and a beer it’s so good . The girls who make the pies are awesome too with great service
