This place is definitely fabulous, every time I have went to this place and food is amazing never disappointed. Even tho it takes me 30 min to drive to this place I would never complain. There (onion pakoras) must try. But only one little complaint quantity of food needs to be increased little bit. Or should have larger size portions options for extra. Just an opinion.

Great authentic Pakistani food. It was our first time in the area and decided to try the food and it was worth the money. Food looked fresh (not microwaved) and had great taste overall. The naan were probably the best I have tried. Owner was nice and respectful. We would recommend the food and will come back if we visit the area again.

Great desi food north of Edison. They have been fairly consistent with their food. We’ve been there over 4 times in the last few months. Their grill items are delicious and reasonably priced. Their naan is fresh, light and chewy.

I’m a pretty picky eater. More specifically, I have just become used to having a diet consisting primarily of fast food and sushi whenever I eat out. Classic Nirala is a great place to go if you want to try something a little different and want to take a first step out of your comfort zone. I loved the food here! I had the fish biryani and it was delicious. The pita was beautiful and fluffy. For desert, I tried rasmalai for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised! It was nothing like I’ve had before and I definitely recommend it. I have to return to have some goat curry, because I tried a bit of it and I’m still craving more. To me, the portions are huge for a reasonable price. My party had a lot of leftovers to happily bring home but we all left very very satiated. The owner is kind and the staff are great! Really happy with my experience here.

We ordered halwa puri breakfast today. My husband and I have both been extremely sick since eating it. We have massive headaches and upset stomachs. The puris was flaky. They rolled out a little bit dough so far that it just broke into powder in our fingers. Horrible breakfast and probably never getting it again.

We went to eat Halwa Purri late afternoon on a Saturday, but couldn’t get it due to the restaurants time reservation for it, that ends at 2 PM. In my humble opinion it should be served all day, especially on weekends! ♂️

Very tasty Indian/Pakistani food. Overall extremely nice experience. A clean place with polite and welcoming staff. I would recommend this place. Wheelchair accessible, let them know of any allergies they are willing to help. Highchair for children.just go and enjoy yummy food.

There are not many Pakistani restaurants around Bergen County, let alone one that offer authentic flavors. Classic Nirala is one little gem that offer both – Authentic Pakistani dishes, some even better when compared to ones you can find in NYC.
