Disappointed to report a less than satisfactory experience at BBQ Chicken in Woodbridge, Virginia. Our night began with a call to the restaurant at 7:45 p.m., where we were assured that arriving by 8:15 p.m. would be fine for a late dine-in. Unfortunately, upon arrival at 8:20 p.m., just five minutes later, we were met with resistance and an unwelcome attitude from the staff.

We stopped in after shopping in the nearby Apple Store. The restaurant looked clean and there weren’t many customers inside. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, (8) garlic and honey boneless wings, (8) spicy galbi boneless wings, and an order of onion rings. It was $55. The service was a little slow considering the place was pretty empty, but we weren’t in a hurry. When the food arrived, it looked great! I enjoyed the garlic and honey wings, but didn’t care for the spicy galbi flavor. After a couple of hours, both my wife and I felt a little nauseous, which lasted through the night. We never got sick to the point of throwing up, but something didn’t agree with us. Overall, the food looked good. Tasted pretty good, but I don’t think it was a very good value for the type of food it is. The fact that my wife and I both felt bad after eating it leads me to believe there are some issues in the kitchen that really need to be addressed. For now, I would not recommend this place.

We have been coming here at least weekly since moving to VA. I find myself craving the Honey Garlic Chicken. So far I have had the honey garlic each time and tried the original, galbi, spicy galbi, and the spicy chicken sandwich. The dumplings are perfect for a picky kid and my wife enjoys the ramen. I always order extra to go because it is so great even the next day. Just look at those garlic pieces. I want to eat more as I type. The -ADE drinks (like lemonade, passion fruitade) and the bubble tea are adorable and delicious. I love watching ing everyone that walks up to get one light up with a smile when they see it. Great place with great food and great service. We will continuously come back.

Staff members are dancing and eating in the kitchen. I was the only one in thr restaurant and waited 22 mins for my chicken sandwich. Not to mention the restaurant didn’t smell very clean. Do not recommend and on top of waiting for so long my chicken patty was super small not to mention it was dry

Very crispy and different flavor of Korean wings they serve. Also they have sandwich, ramen and rice bowl. We ordered galbi and Gangnam style wings. Next time we want to try rice bowl and ramen.

I’ve tried a lot of halal fried chicken options in the area, but i must say that their fried chicken is the best in DMV region without any doubts. We’ve tried the hot Mala, hot spicy, soy garlic and their firey hot wings. Everything was really well flavored and the best things was the crisp layer on the chicken even after all the marination/seasoning. The food is always served fresh here and their fries are really good as well. We haven’t tried the sandwiches yet, but honestly, I don’t even want to since the fried chicken itself is just amazing and you really don’t want anything else after that. I’d highly recommend this outlet and also, the staff is very friendly and attentive. You guys rock – keep up the good work folks!!!

Tried BBQ Chicken on a week day during a work lunch break. Bad idea given it took 20+ to make my order. The restaurant only had one other dine-in customer but it became obviously I was competing with the mobile orders. I ordered a lunch special which ended being….well underwhelming. Nuggets, were dry, the outer breading lacked body as well as that satisfying crunch Korean Fried Chicken is known for. Seemed more like frozen chicken pieces tossed in the airfryer and then glazed in an okay sauce. Portion wise, see photo for your own thoughts. Personally, it was not a good value given the near $15 tab, wait time . Service being pleasant and helpful was the only plus. Else, KorFC fans you aren’t missing anything.

The wings were most likely somewhat precooked since it took about 10 minutes to get 3 orders of 8 pieces of wings. The breading was nit evenly distributed. The drummettes were a different size than the flat part of the wing. The cheese fries weren’t hot and the cheese was like from the popcorn topping you use at home. They also forgot the kimchi fried rice though that was good. Definitely not BonChon!

It’s a very nice place to go and try Korean BBQ chicken. They have a good variety of flavors to choose from. It’s also pretty cozy inside, a nice welcoming atmosphere.
