I’ve been eyeing this place since i moved to Hayward. I’ll give them another try but it wasn’t all that, 6/10 ; I hate that businesses use DoorDash to place orders online because they raise the prices. 6pc catfish online was $16 but if you order there or maybe over the phone it’s only $12. So no the catfish wasn’t worth $18 to me. They definitely don’t beat some of the other fish places in the bay. And it’s not filets or nuggets more like strips. There is a 30-40 minute wait ordering there if they’re busy.

I’ve passed by this spot many times and decided to try it when I had a craving for some ‘you buy, we fry’ spots I used to hit up in LA. Both the fish and chicken were nicely seasoned and fried up right. The fries were a bit salty but I’ll try some of the other sides next time. Can’t eat fried foods often but I definitely will be back for more.

The food was really good. Especially the fish. I thought the fries were pretty good. They were commercial fries but considering that, they were decent. I wasn’t crazy about the desserts but special mention goes out for the red velvet cupcake. The fried chicken was also pretty good but the fish was the star for sure.
