My fave quick & easy, traditional breakfast spot in south Denver. Freshly cooked meals, endless well brewed drip coffee, and fast, friendly service. The signs in the window hide a surprisingly open & spotlessly clean dining room. Delicious bacon. Excellent hash browns. Nice size portions. Reasonable prices.

I’ve driven past this place many times over the years, but I wasn’t sure how it was until a few weeks ago that food was hot and presented like we were important guest and couldn’t believe how amazing the food looked, but I hadn’t taken a bite however it tasted as good as it looked, anytime biscuits and gravy are on the menu, I order it in memory of my mom , I was pleasantly surprised the food was so fresh and tasty, I’m looking forward to going back for biscuits and gravy.

Ordered from Grubhub. Order arrived promptly, but was awful. Ordered steak and eggs. Steak was gray, over-cooked. Eggs were floating in juice from the steak, turning them the same unappealing gray. Took a few bites and called it good. You can spend your money better.

i have eaten here many many times over the past several years. sadly i have to give the food 2 stars. had a bacon cheeseburger. totally dried out and over cooked. no flavor. onion rings are pretty good. the last time i hsd a cheesesteak. meat was dried out. fries overcooked paying almost 20 for a burger and soda ..not cool. i wonder if they switched cooks?.

My husband brought me here for breakfast. Great service, water was great, but a terrible breakfast. So terrible I couldn’t even finish my below average “belgium waffle”. The waffle was maybe microwaved and possibly thrown on the griddle for a second to appear freshly made. Literally like boxed waffles. In fact they were not only cheap but also freezer burned. The blueberries were ok from the can. There was no option of whipped cream which would have helped with the bad waffle taste be just a bit better should it have come with it. I could have made an Ego waffle at home which was better quality of a waffle than what this place offers. The worst breakfast ever possibly and will never go back again and waste money on well below average tasting food.

Trisha was amazing!!! And the coffee was as good as it was when I was last here with my parents 20 years ago as a child.. my girlfriend was visiting from texas and our Airbnb was right down the street… she loved the chocolate chip pancakes …

Ignore those prices in the window, that doesn’t exist anywhere in Denver but this is definitely one of the better cheap breakfasts around. We seated ourselves, we got coffee and our order in fast. I ordered the Benedict, it was great and the hash browns it came with were cooked just right. The service is quaint. It’s nice that a humble place like this exists in ritzy Platt Park. If you want a good breakfast fast and at a great price, stop here.
