Mediocre BBQ. Certainly not “award winning” or “championship” quality as they tout. Brisket was incredibly dry and sliced so thin it was more like roast beef. Pulled chicken was decent. Brisket burnt ends were even over cooked and tough.

We ordered the ribs, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, potato salad, coleslaw, and fries…. Yum! They have at least 6 barbecue sauces, and I believe my favorite one was #1. I think that’s their signature one. Highly recommend if you’re craving barbecue!

I’ve eaten food from here many times and tonight was an embarrassment! Got the ultimate platter.. they were sold out of rib so doubled up on the brisket. However, there were so few pieces I doubt they did. But more importantly, it was dry, completely dry. Not even the bbq sauce helped it go down. So moved onto the second slice and it was like chewing beef jerky…in fact all of the brisket was beef jerky. The pulled pork was a very small portion and it was old. Look I could go on how the chicken was but there is no need. Whole Hog, I expected better from you tonight!! Just a disappointment all around. Like seriously, my 30 plus years of eating bbq , yours tonight was the worst I’ve EVER had from anywhere. Look we drive out of our way to get your BBQ but after tonight’s experience we will take our family elsewhere…
