Out of the few local food options within reasonable walking distance from the nearby hotel, Koiya was by far the best value and most satisfying. Hefty portions and served quickly. I received hibachi steak & shrimp combo with fried rice and it was great.

Four shrimp in my hibachi shrimp and chicken??!! Really??!! $18.00 for ten cents worth of rice, 25 cents in veggies, a bucks worth of chicken, and 4 friggin shrimp??!! Will be a cold day in hell before they get my business again. They use too much teriyaki anyway. Will be glad when they close and a new hibachi place opens. They are the 5th in Vidalia. They all end for the same reason. They start off well then eventually cheat the customer. Then they close. Dont worry, koiya will soon close and we will get better…for the first several years anyway. Stop going to koiya and the sooner it will be to get better.

They literally gave me my food as soon as I ordered (not cooked fresh) and it smelled burned. After seeing it was, I was refused another plate or a refund. WILL NEVER RETURN

Food is absolutely delicious, first time here and will be coming back. Will make sure my route gets me back every week cause I’m hooked now. Had the hibachi steak with teriyaki chicken, broccoli, rice and fried mushrooms.

Yes the food is great, but sadly after going there for 2 years now we will not be returning. Yesterday I ordered 2 plates that each included a vegetable and because I asked for one of the vegetables to be put on the side I was charged an additional $3.25 even though the meal included a vegetable. When I asked about it I was told that the manager said that’s how it would be from now on when a customer requested the vegetable not be put on same plate with meat and rice. Absolutely ridiculous! The prices have also gone up and the scallops are half the size they use to be.
