We used Smokey Jay’s to cater our housewarming party; and, WOW, they were a HIT! Our party was at the end of July 2023, and our friends, neighbors, as well as us have not stopped talking about how amazing the food was. Several of our guests even took business cards to hopefully use them in the future for their own events. Of the choices we picked (chicken, brisket, Mac and cheese, greens, baked beans), they were all so good. The baked beans are magical. The service provided was so professional and friendly. I will definitely be using them again.

This was my first time trying this spot out and I wasn’t 100% impressed. The ribs are decent & have nice flavor however the yams and the macaroni were not good. I thought the yams would be homemade but they aren’t. They come from the can with a few added things to it & the macaroni was super mushy & no flavor at all. Maybe these weren’t the best sides to get but this is just from my experience.

All I have to say is for the past 4 yrs (minus Covid Year) my family and I have done vacations in Orlando and every time we come, we make it our # 1 Priority to get some of that GOODER THAN GOOD BBQ @ Smokey Jay’s!! And to top it off, they have this Dreamsicle Cake that looks and tastes too good to pass up! Thank you again for great food, service. and laughs #SJ’sBBQ #DemDangDAkidsAreCrazy LOL!!

Was looking for a fire pit BBQ while in Orlando. This place was Fantastic!!! Ribs smoke with nice bark and smoke ring. Wasn’t to soft where it fell off the bone but bit off the bone. just the way i like them. Mac & Cheese and coleslaw was really good. only thing missing was slice brisket. Can’t complain, these rib very good. Btw, thanks for the free bbq education.

First-time customer ribs were delicious, not blown away with the brisket. The gentlemen taking our orders was very professional and cool and very attentive and they stopped by our table several times to make sure we were good during our visit.

Delicious food and generous portions. This is a family run restaurant with REAL BBQ and all the sides. The collard greens and Mac and cheese were delicious. The cornbread was great. You will not leave hungry! The photo I showed was only half the ribs they gave me lol.
