My wife and I went for a breakfast date. The food is always good. We both ordered The Barrel House Traditional Breakfast with different combinations but both rye toast. They have beautiful golden brown crispy hashbrowns without being burned. The Applewood bacon is amazing. The sausage links were very large, but the taste was not to our liking. If you order scrambled eggs, make sure you ask for cheese (if you want it. We forgot to ask.) The hollandaise sauce is some of the best ive ever had. The coffee isn’t anything to write home about but is probably the same as most breakfast places. They only have regular creamer, I prefer hazelnut. Everything I finish eating here, I order the house special “The Double Barrel” you can see this alcohol beverage in the photos.

We stopped for breakfast. It was great. The omelettes were a good size and tasted good too! The service was quick and friendly. The American fries could’ve been better. They were a little on the thick side making them almost more like potato wedges. I would come back again!

Stopped in for a Wednesday brunch. Was surprised by how busy it was for the lunch crowd. Pleased they serve breakfast all day. We’ve frequently dined here in the past when it was Pappy’s and B and K’s. Still churning out some excellent breakfasts. Everything and Spinach Omelets had a nice little sear to their exteriors with tasty bacon, sausage, and ham. Meats and veggies were sauteed well enough to give them extra flavor and color. Hash Browns could have been a little crispier since they were only browned on one side. Pancake was a little on the dark side. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Really enjoy the up north home cooking feel. Will definitely be back. Great job!

Me and my dad were served by Debby, she was super sweet, one of the nicest waitresses I’ve had. The food was amazing and came out very fast, which was good because I was in a rush. We got seated the moment we came in the door and I even got a sucker on my way out. Overall amazing experience, me and my dad are sure to come back. Debby deserves to be congratulated for her hard work as well as the woman by the door. Again can’t stress enough how good the food was aswell.

YUM! Normally, I’m not a Bloody Mary person, but I had to order one once I tried my friend’s. I also had the blackberry margarita and it was one of the best margs I’ve ever had. The Barrel House Burger was delicious, too! 10/10 would recommend this place.

Gave this a two because I was overcharged, and the person taking the money would not admit I was being overcharged. I had the shrimp basket which was on the special board for 11.49. My bill with tax was 12.31. I gave her a twenty and 31 cents in change, and she gave me a five back. I said that I should be getting 8 back. She said the price was supposed to have been 13.99, even though the board clearly stated 11.49. There were people waiting to pay so l didn’t want to argue with her. I was going to give the $3 in change to the waitress as a tip, so it was all the same to me. I just feel bad the waitress didn’t get her tip. The real upsetting thing is a couple men in our group who also had the shrimp, were only charged the 11.49. Guess she didn’t like me much. The next time our group goes to lunch here I will pass.
