I was very happy with the food here. The lady at the register was super nice and recommended the fried chicken and collard greens and I got the mashed potatoes too – and it was delightful! Definitely great chicken. It also came with this hot sauce that was really good too. Clean inside, the staff was all nice, and the food was great. I will definitely be going back

“Fast” soul food… not super fast. We waited about 15 minutes- not too bad. Last visit was 40 minutes- there were not people here. Food is very good. The atmosphere is nice- nothing fancy but looks nice and is clean. Bathroom is clean. The chef came out and asked if we were enjoyed the cuisine. Overall good experience.

The food was good first time experience, I ordered turkey wings,Mac n cheese, collard greens and I had a side of yams… Hey Sunday dinner on a Friday love it but I rated the food a 4 star only because I felt the food was just slight bit salty but it could have been me because I just don’t do a whole lot of salt on my food big on flavor but not salt to each it’s own but I will try again. I want to try other things on the menu. Staff was excellent Great customer is plus for me when dealing with my food. The atmosphere was calm, very clean and comfortable.

We went here and ate the food. I did not like the macaroni and cheese Im not sure what they season it with it taste garlicky. The jerk chicken taste like bbq jerk I guess. The collard greens were good. The yams were too soft they were falling apart. My friend didn’t like their food either. The place was nice and comfortable inside. But we waited for 20 minutes for our food. We will not be returning.

I have been eagerly waiting for this restaurant to open in this new location. I drove over and ordered grilled shrimp with sweet jerk seasoning, collard greens with smoked turkey, grilled vegetables and a large slice of cornbread. I did have to wait longer than expected, but the chef walked over to me and explained that he was grilling some fresh vegetables and my order would be ready shortly. This meal was amazing, flavorful and delicious. It was definitely worth the wait time! I’m thinking about what to have for the next time I order.

First time coming in I ordered grilled shrimp dinner w mac and cheese and rice and beans w grilled chicken on the side the food was delicious service was excellent was hoping to try the desserts but they were out and its hard to tell when they are open the website will say one time and get there and will have a sign say something else but was worth the wait the rice and beans w turkey meat and the shrimp was my favorite out of what I ordered

I finally had a chance to try this place out & was really excited. The place is easy to find with great parking. I ordered the Turkey wing dinner. It comes with 2 Turkey wings + your choice of 2 sides. I chose collard greens & yams. The collard greens were good 7.75/10 and the yams were amazing, 10/10! The cornbread was great as well, 10/10. Unfortunately, one of my turkey wings was extremely over cooked (burnt) and the gravy was ridiculously salty- 5/10. Im always down to give a small business another shot though. Next time I think I’ll keep it a bit more simple & try the fried chicken.

I loved the food. This was my first visit on 8/5/2023. I ordered the BBQ chicken dinner, which came with the choice of two sides. I chose mac and cheese and collard greens. I also ordered a side of candied yams. That was some of the best soul food I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be going back.
