For Evanston, I think this is an excellent choice. The food is tasty and has a Taiwanese take. I mostly order the soup and dry hot pots. These are the specialties. I always feel quite satisfied. The service is very friendly and helpful..The decor is nice and the price is right. Parking is always available in the lots at a very reasonable price.

I ordered the beef fried rice, no flavor, under seasoned and the beef was greasy and the rice was under cooked, to top off my dissatisfied they didn’t bag with spoon or napkins, my advice don’t go near this place when they’re closing, I’m guessing the poor service was because they were closing in an hour. Note the portions are small

The food here is incredible and everything comes out hot, fresh, flavorful, and quickly too! The seasonal specials menu is where you want to order from, but the standard menu is also good. I highly recommend the dry sizzling pots. 4 Stars purely because the service here isn’t the best. It takes forever for wait staff to come and take orders or bring a check at the end- if they can get some better servers or training they would definitely earn that 5 Stars from me!

I went with my family to this restaurant. We like to try new places around Chicago and happened to find this one online. First thing first the ambiance and overall restaurant setting is very nice. It’s nicely decorated, feels clean, and pretty spacious. As we ordered the waiter was very helpful in telling us how big the portions are and which dishes are good. I have to say the peapod leaves, cumin lamb, and sour vegetable fish soup were all delicious. We are quite critical of Chinese food so it was very impressive to taste how fresh and authentic the food was. I have say however, the beef noodle soup was slightly disappointing. While the portions were big and the beef was good, the noodles and soup wasn’t(there could improvements). Besides that, we really enjoyed our meal and would’ve given a 4.5 star but the staff made it a 5. They made us feel comfortable and cared for us. Would definitely go again.

Food is pretty good and service is nice. The atmosphere is really good with good decor, lighting, and spaciousness. I had the Taiwanese beef noodle soup which was super super good. I asked for less spicy and it was perfect, for what I wanted. My friend got chicken stir fried chow mien which was also good. However, my other friend got the black bean noodles which were not too good. They were not very black bean flavoury and very much just soy saucy. However if you like the high heat stir fried taste, you should get them. The quality of the actual noodles is nice! Would recommend.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in between classes when I’m craving for noodles and mini hotpots. Their menu is not particularly high end. You’re not going to find Peking ducks or steamed fish, but their menu offers a decent amount of choices at a very reasonable price point. Most of the crowd is very young and the interior is well lit, great for having conversations with friends. The service is very snappy and reliable, and the portion size is great for sharing.

Different staff during weekdays but quality is still the same. Today was mapo tofu and some fried crab wontons if you are around and want some noodles, fried pork and good Chinese food his is the place. Staff is very gentle and quantity is far more than 1 individual.
