This place was packed and for good reason. The food here is the best. I highly recommend the country fried steak. The portions are huge here so definitely come with an appetite and come hungry. Delicious sides as well. Although parking can be tough, they also own the lot next to them as well. So there’s spots to park. Food came out pretty fast as well. Very friendly and attentive staff. I will definitely be returning next time I am at Eagle Pass.

We had visited the day before fathers day. Made the mistake of ordering 2 chicken fried steaks, they took over the whole table! Food was amazing, people were so friendly and the owners were walking around making everyone feel at home. This was a true small town restaurant!

Everyone was super friendly and attentive. I thought the attentiveness was overkill at times. But that’s their culture. We have never been here before. We are from San Antonio. The wife heard about this place from social media. We decided to try it out before heading back to San Antonio. We will definitely go back again and try out other products on the menu. We did the bbq this time and it was quite delicious. Everything we had was good. There was nothing I didn’t like or cared for.

This place is spectacular! We visit Eagle Pass fairly often. Unfortunately there aren’t many good eats to be found. But we found The Wagon Wheel. Arguably the best in town. The bbq among the best in Texas. Chicken Fried Steak among the best anywhere. In addition to great food, there’s great service. Everyone was so helpful, courteous and helpful. Come for the food, stay and make friends is what I say. You won’t be sorry!

We loved The Wagon Wheel. We had chicken fried steak, and it was out of this world good. The customer service was top-notch. We even got to talk with Selena for a bit, and she was so genuine and kind. We will definitely be back soon.

Saw the add for the Chicken Fried Steak and could not pass up seeing in person..And while I did not order it..Looked delicious !!! I went for the three meat BBQ plater and was NOT disappointed. Some of the best charro beans I have ever had,,,Met the owner…FABULOUS DUDE he is…Paco..It was delicious just as Oscar and Monica said it would be…Stay tuned for a video on the YouTube channel @A Long Long Way to GO…..WE WILL BE BACK for the CFS !!!!

Paid $72 for the two big chicken fried steaks, a kids meal, and two teas. A lot of money for food that wasn’t good. The nuggets in the kids meal were the same as the Tyson nuggets you buy from the store. When we arrived everyone has to stand outside because it’s so small in there they make you stand outside & then when it’s your turn you can go inside and order. You have to order fast cause they’re waiting on you so you feel really rushed. It’s so hot outside. We went with our family so there was like 10 of us & they said parties that big don’t fit inside so we had to sit outside. It was so HOT. We didn’t enjoy our food cause we were swatting flies away & sweating. The chicken fried steak I got was super chewy. Honestly I think it’s because it’s a huge portion so it’s almost impossible to make sure it’s cooked perfectly, but be prepared if you get it it may not be cooked to your liking since it’s huge. One steak can be split between two people don’t waste money like we did by ordering two. For me it wasn’t worth the drive or my money. I will say the waitress came around a few times and asked if we needed anything that was the only good thing I noticed. It’s too small of a building for the large crowd that shows up. Also the parking lot is terrible small don’t park in there park in the parking lot beside it.

Hands down best chicken fried steak I have had. It’s literally served on a pizza pan it is so big. Not to mention the staff is really friendly and cares about great service. Nothing but good things to say about this place.
