Outside bar and seating was excellent on a Wednesday evening and not many people at 430. Ordered penne and meatballs, meatball sliders, chicken parm, a layered eggplant mess and a calzone. Everyone liked their food except the eggplant. It was too mushy and watery. The owners I believe stopped up but said nothing to us just regulars. That said the staff was very friendly and well informed. I do not think I would go back for dinner. Maybe drinks on the patio. The only reason they got a 4 star is because of the staff.

Very quaint family owned restaurant with delicious food. They have limited hours & they do close for winter but it’s a hidden gem of Mentor. Staff is always friendly & efficient, even when busy. Dining area is small but during the summer the back is opened up for outdoor eating. Music is great either from speaker or live musicians.

This place had great outdoor seating with a tent and large umbrellas in case there was rain. There were beautiful string lights decorating the tent. Our waitress, who was one of the owners, was so nice and attentive. All the food was made to order. We were between two meals and she offered to make us a half portion of each of them. The food was absolutely amazing. The spinach salad had a warm bacon dressing that was to die for. The eggplant parm had thick eggplant pieces that were breaded the perfect amount—not too much. The sauce was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Wife and I went to Campola’s Friday night September 7 2018. We sat there for 15 minutes ignored by the waiter and waitress until another customer pointed us out. we ordered drinks That took 20 minutes. Then watched the WACK JOB waiter serve food to 3 tables that came after us. We got spaghetti that came about 45 minutes later and wasn’t that good. Watching the waiter was like watching a Squirrel run around the patio. No way that I’ll recommend this place and I’ll bet they won’t like my review. I have heard the same complaints by many other people. The band SPOON TOO SOON was great but the food and service was BAD. no way that I WILL recommend this place and I’ll bet they won’t like my review. My spaghetti is WAY better , they don’t know how to make it.
