So excited to have Indian restaurant in Denton. The food quality and making need to improve a ton. Most of the dishes taste same. They need either modify menu or appoint who really knew difference while making dish. Service was average. Atmosphere is very bad. The toilet cleaner smell was across the restaurant. And most of the tables are not cleaned immediately.

Pretty good. Sangam rules but this is a great option if near the square. Cursed location but food is spicy enough hopefully can scare away the demons. I got the Masala didn’t give a spice lvl at order and they came back with a Andaman lvl 4 which I respect. Day after reheat via microwave flavor and spice still there making the perfect dine / left over situation. I drank 5 carafs of water on site. Very friendly staff. Clean bathroom.

I was thrilled to have an Indian restaurant close to home, but my experience at Namaste Denton was disappointing. Upon entering, there was an unpleasant smell that immediately affected the atmosphere. Additionally, the service was exceptionally slow. In fact, I opted to cancel my order when I noticed four large cans of RAID(use to kill cockroaches) placed right outside of the kitchen, which raised concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. This aspect left me with an uncomfortable feeling and overshadowed the excitement I had initially. I hope the restaurant can address these issues to improve the dining experience for future customers.

The biryani and Guntur chicken fry at Namaste Denton were excellent. The team has significantly improved the biryani, especially the ghee flavor and saffron aroma. Please maintain this quality. We’re now big fans of Namaste Denton’sbiryani.

I won’t suggest this place. We ordered goat curry, and there is a chicken piece in Mutton Curry. And we waited 40 minutes to literally get fried rice.

Pricey, and super spicey. As major fans of Indian cuisine, my family recently decided to try Namaste, since they’re now part of the DoorDash program. Spent about $50, and received what’s shown in the picture (please note that the small apple was added for scale). The order includes 2 entrees (1 of which was substituted with no reduction in price, and only included a single bed of rice), some bread, and a dessert. So the bang for our buck was already lacking in this experience to the point that I felt compelled to include a food photo in a review for the first time in order to show the small serving sizes. Then we sat down to eat, and discovered food which was nearly inedible due to a high level of spice. I’ve eaten at many Indian joints around the metroplex. I cook Indian food at home (both from scratch, and the pre-packaged stuff). I’m also typically a fan of spice, having tried the hottest Hot Ones sauces, as well as taken on the One Chip Challenge. This food, however, tasted as though someone had taken Madras curry, and thrown in a helping of The Last Dab hot sauce. So it suffices to say that this is not for newcomers to Indian food, or for those who don’t like VERY hot foods. Adding to the challenge presented by this spiciness is the fact that there are no options to reduce spice levels, or side sauces like Tamarind Chutney to temper what’s on offer. The flavor of the Tikka was pleasant, as was the scent of the rice (note that there are whole cloves in it), but I would not pay money to experience this food a second time. The naan was nothing worth raving about, though its serving size was at least adequate. And the dessert was lackluster. The literal cubing of the chicken further detracts from the food’s appeal. Also, I’m not a fan of the large bell pepper chunks in their Tikka Masala. On the bright side, there is some promise with this restaurant, and most of what I’d count as downsides are easily resolved. Still, I’ve no intention of trying their food again. One foray into the fire was enough for me.

My partner & I really enjoyed the dishes we ordered, I preferred the mutton/lamb korma & he preferred the mutton/lamb curry. We also had a garlic butter naan & it was good to eat with it all. We asked for spicy & that’s exactly what we got, our mouths were burning which we both love – so if you don’t like spicy food, don’t ask for it or specify you don’t want it spicy. We, on the other hand, were pleasantly surprised bc nowhere in denton can we find spicy food (without adding hot sauce). It was great! I can’t wait to try more of the menu.
