Visited this one in my neighborhood, Highland Park in St Paul. A cashless establishment. You scan the code on the table and you can look at the menu, place the order and pay the bill using your mobile phone. That part is cool. The place has indoor and outdoor patio for sitting, a huge bar, nice set up. The menu has a good selection of tacos and burgers. Cocktails, beers and wines are also on the menu. The taste is good but not super good. 5 people in our group with a total bill of north of $125.

Meh. The food here is really low quality. It’s like a taco bell crossed with a college cafeteria. Worst queso I’ve ever had. To be fair we didn’t try the burgers, so maybe they’re better. The tacos were ok, but why not get some of the best tacos in the Midwest up on lake street?

Definitely felt like I was eating at Urban outfitters with some tables put in it lol. Also the plants inside are taking care of properly because there’s definitely like fruit flies or something by my table and normal flies so not really sure what’s going on there… Tacos are about 5.50 a piece I have the vegetarian one which was okay. Just taste like spicy pickled onions mostly which was a little weird and some steamed cauliflower in it and potatoes. Not a lot of flavor. I also had the Barbados taco which was a little dry. The flavor was good but just dry. Definitely not worth $5. Had a glass bottle of Sprite which was really good obviously. All in all, I think this place is just one more modern take on home style cooking and it’s not as good. Specifically. This one is like Mexican home style looking and it’s not good at all compared to the real stuff. I also had a chicken sandwich and they said they have like coleslaw on it but it was literally just shaved cabbage with no dressing so I was kind of confused on that label. The edges are dried out on it. I don’t know if it was double deep fried or something but didn’t really need to be and it tasted like peanuts. Probably because it was fried in peanut oil, but usually there’s something to like mitigate that so that was a little odd. People are nice, weird and comfy bar. Heavy set sitting at the bar is like not a thing. Total dinner cost with tip was 36.86

Love this new addition to the neighborhood! All of the tacos are delicious but my favorite are the barbacoa and the chorizo. They also have burgers and fries if you’re not in the mood for tacos. Their margarita was really good, I enjoyed the one with Mezcal. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive! Can’t wait to go back and try more things on their menu.

Good food. Depending on what you order depends on how quickly you get your meal. Almost anything that isn’t tacos will reach your table within minutes. Service was efficient and friendly.

This place is hopping! I’m so glad they have expanded near my part of Minneapolis because I have already eaten here three times! I love the street tacos, particularly the carnitas en adobo taco, but I thought I should branch out to explore the larger menu. This time I tried something different, and this review is only for that third visit meal.

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere was welcoming and the individuals working the day I was there were amazing. Very helpful, pleasant, and accommodating. My son can not have dairy and they made sure his meal was safe for him (his disorder is more severe than an intolerance). I had the best cauliflower appetizers ever! Can’t wait to go back!

Hold the hair but the burger was good. Although a medium white hair came out of the center of my kids burger it was still pretty good. The fries were also crispy and fresh. since there is no one to complain about the hair to I picked it out and finished my burger. I’m not sure why there is a 10% service fee as the service is non existent. Overall this place has a very good cheeseburger but if you are Looking for Mexican food then you will be disappointed. Negro modelo is nowhere to found. The food comes out fast and the drinks seem to have alcohol in them. If you are hungry and everything else is closed this is a good option. The tres leches cake is supposed to be very good.
