I loved the experience here. Heated hand towels were brought to us while we ordered. The owner was so incredibly nice. Ordering on the touch screen was really simple and the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere all around.

Sizable pieces and seemingly fresh but the sushi rice is off. There seems to be an Asian chef there, maybe Japanese, who might be making the rice which seems to lack a rice vinegar taste. The person who’s making the sushi, possibly Mexican, who’s giving large slices of fish isn’t able to wrap the fish around the rice which causes the fish to separate easily from the rice. They should just make two smaller nigiri pieces instead of one large one.

This is a great little hole in the wall kinda spot that you love to find when exploring the city. It’s a small location, with three tables inside as well as three outside. The digital screen at your table (inside only) makes it super easy to order whatever you want without the pressure of being asked if you’re ready or need extra time.

Randomly came here for lunch. Happy hour menu during lunch. Sushi, rolls, fried chicken etc. You can get similar stuff from Nijiya about the same price and quality. Everything is made to order. Friendly service. Ok overall.

The quality of the sushi here is mediocre. Not grocery store bad, but just not superb quality. The restaurant is usually gloomy, but I have been going here for a long time and the prices are good. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite.

Im definitely a sushi fan. But i just ordered a 10pc Nigiri. It was terrible. I left 2 pieces of fish it was so unedible. It tasted bland and the sushi rice was off. If you value good sushi, skip this spot. I would only reccomend this place if you like cheap food. Also the restaurant is dark and gloomy.

Make sure to order online as prices are MUCH higher if you call to pick up. Food is good for price (online). I was upset to find that the price for pick up over the phone was 30% higher than same order online. Makes no sense.

I love ugly sushi because its FRESH MADE. they deliver fresh made, also you can dine in if you’re smart enough to read the sign in the front door that says please use back door. If you are worthy, you too can dine in and watch others as they attempt to open a locked door.
