A True Mom & Pop Shop
We are proud to welcome you into our family friendly restaurant with the vibe of an old-time ice cream parlor and sandwich shoppe! We’re known for our homemade soups, grilled sandwiches, wraps, and of course our ice cream menu!
Mitch and Gina Dissinger, owners of Lickity Split, are passionate about many things, two of which are food and New Holland. So when the opportunity presented itself to open a restaurant in a historic building in downtown New Holland, they jumped at the chance.
After five months of hard work renovating their section of the old Kauffman’s Hardware building, Lickity Split opened it’s doors to the public in June of 2010.

Today was our first time visiting Luckity Split Restaurant, and we were so glad that we did. From the moment that we walked in, until we left, the staff was welcoming, kind, and made you feel like they appreciated your business! The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and makes you want to sit back and relax. The kids menu was a hit! They offer many choices for kids from a hotdog, Mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and fluff to a build your own sandwich. I enjoyed the Turkey and Waffles!!! Oh wow was it good! Two waffles smothered in tender Turkey and savory gravy served with mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, cranberry sauce and apple sauce. The Dill Pickle Soup was also amazing! So good!! To end our meal we enjoyed the petite serving of ice cream. I recommend tasting the Teaberry ice cream……a very interesting and good flavor. Enjoy! We can not wait to come back to try more of their delicious menu!

Lickity Split hosted my sister’s bridal shower at Lickity Split Down Under. The staff was very easy to work with and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. They even provided background music. If you are looking for a venue in the New Holland area for 20-25 people….look into this venue. You won’t be disappointed!

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the delectable treats from Lickity Split Ice Cream Truck, and I must say, it was an experience that brought me joy as we pushed through a week of finals at Lancaster Bible College.

Very impressed with the friendly service by our waitress, and she even let all of us taste a sample of the dill pickle soup! Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. They have lots of fun ice cream sundae choices. Thank you for serving our food in beautiful dishes, and for the Bible verses on the bottom of the menus.

A small cafe restaurant with entrance from the back to minimize the traffic noise from the main street. It has the small town atmosphere and serves some great burgers and ice cream. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We tried the pickle cream soup and it sure has some kick to it. Prices was reasonable and service was quick.
