$4.00 for a burger and a beer. Burger is a smash burger style and merely delicious. No upcharge for cheese and the beer was very cold. Locals call it the “Cheers” bar of Montana.

I am giving this place 5 stars! Food was good and beer was cold! The stars are for our server on Sunday August 28th 2022…she was by herself. She was pleasant and helpful. Brought us drinks right away and they let us know she would be back to take our order after she got done cooking for another table. She came back as soon as that was done, took our order brought us more drinks while we waited for her to cook for all six of us! She brought the food out while still cooking the rest of our stuff so everything we got was hot! For being all by herself she did an amazing job! Kudos to her and she needs a raise! Thank you for giving us a pleasant experience. We tried to eat at donivans on Friday and were ignored and waited 2 hours after order was taken and still never got to eat! Left hungry! See my review for them! Would come back to carmel’s again for sure!

The burger was really good but the service was poor. Our server was more interested in talking to guys sitting at the bar than serving us. Took multiple requests and probably 20 minutes of waiting to get our checks. I doubt that I will ever come back.
