At Danette’s Brick Oven Pub every dish is homemade with the freshest ingredients available our pizza dough is made from scratch and hand rolled. Much care is taken in preparing all our sauces and dressings. Our burgers are made from 1/2 lb delicious short rib brisket our wild caught Icelandic cod fish and chips is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Battered and hand dipped to order. Onion rings are cut and hand battered in house, french fries are hand cut daily,. All our appetizers from our jumbo wings to our calamari to our battered to order fried mushrooms and fried pickles are hand made in house daily. This 100% locally grown Chardonnay is a representative of the luscious, riper 2012 vintage- rich, deep orchard aromas with a touch of mango. Pear and apple flavor precede the luxuriously, smooth, long citrus finish. Barrel fermented, aged sur lie in 100% French oak for 6 month.
Perry Creek 2012 Chardonnay, Fair Play
This is a full bodied elegant, crisp Chardonnay. Aromas of green apple bouquet and vanilla. it presents lush notes of tropical fruit, vanilla and hints of spice carried by hints of bright citrus.
Sierra Vista 2013 Sauvignon Blanc, Placerville
With aromas of honeysuckle and citrus, this wine has the “fresh cut grass” characteristics distinct to the Sauvignon Blanc varietals. Flavors reveal hints of honey, pineapple, grapefruit, and melon. This well rounded wine has a long lasting, crisp acidity which is a compliment to many foods.
Sierra Vista 2013 Viognier, Placerville
This Viognier was completely fermented in stainless steel, resulting in floral aromas with fresh peach, apricot, and a touch of spice, adding to the complexity. Round, rich mouth feel with fresh apricot and nectarine followed by citrus and spiced orange with a touch of mineral in the finish
Crane Lake 2012 White Zinfandel, California
Soft and fruity, slightly sweet, with strawberries and peaches on the nose. Pear overtones on the palate. It has a refreshing mouth feel and finish
Boeger Hangtown Red Lot 49, Placerville
This red table wine is produced in the historic Gold Rush county of El Dorado. “Old Hangtown,” its namesake is a blend of 5 varietals including Cabernet, Merlot, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. With aromas of dark red fruit, it hits the palate with plum, raspberry, vanilla, and a touch of leather earthiness. Has a wonderfully smooth finish with just a hint of astringency on the tongue.
Boeger 2011 Barbera, Placerville
Swirl this glass of Barbera to reveal aromas of creme brulee, caramelized sugar, and butterscotch. This is a jammy wine with hints of plum jelly, black currant, and blackberry, Notes of tobacco and spice on the palate, along with great acidity for a lingering finish.
Narrow Gate 2009 Petite Sirah, EI Dorado
Dark, opaque, & inky purple this wine is classic, easy drinking, 100% Petite Sirah from El Dorado. Aromas of fresh, ripe blackberries and dried cherries with flavors of spiced, plum jam, mocha and just a wisp of oak. The wine is big and full on the mid-palate, nicely structured front to back with tamed tannins and a deep, long finish. Aged in 100% American oak for 12 months.
Narrow Gate 2010 Petite Cuvee, EI Dorado
Blend of 31% Syrah, 49% Gernache, 10% Primitivo, 6 % Mourvedre and 4 % Petite Sirah. Aromas of cardmom, rose petals, and a touch of clove. The black cherry mid palate expands and lingers in the mouth leaving a wonderfully, bright, long finish. Aged 12 month in a combination of French and American oak.

Colibiri Ridge 2007 Estate Primitivo, Fairplay
Aromas of dark fruit, cherry, and berries with a hint of spice. Flavors on the palate consist of zesty cherry, wild blackberry, clove, raspberry and a touch of black pepper. Balanced acidity, with a smooth finish.

We’ve never been, today was our first time. We had the tortilla soup, Caesar salad and combo pizza, followed up with a brownie cheesecake desert. WOW! Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server was Aly. Aly was wonderful and attentive! We were shocked when we walked in and realized a very large menu and a server, at what we thought was just a pizza place. We were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend.
