We had breakfast. Western omelet and eggs over easy. Grits and toast. All was good. Cashier was friendly and even bused our table (apparently guests normally bus their table). Lots of SC football pictures adorn the walls. Nice little place off the beaten path.

I purchased multiple platters and spent over 200.00. When I arrived the line was long so I went up to the side of the counter and asked the young man behind the counter for my order. It was paid for over the phone days before when I ordered. He was really nice and asked if I wanted him to carry it out for me. I responded “Yes, thank you”. Well on the way to the door, an older man yelled his name and told him to check the ticket to make sure I’d paid for it. The young man stated “I did” and then he continued to carry my order out. I’m not sure why he thought I’d actually leave the place without paying but I was the only black face in the establishment so maybe that played a part. I’m not sure if he was a jerk or a racist. Either way, they will not get my coins ever again.

First time here and it was great! Cool little locally owned spot, I think they’ve been around for something like 75 years!! Awesome. I got the western omelet with hash browns and a side of pancakes and it was exactly what I wanted. Pancakes were dense, I like em that way, flavorful and the omelet was just the right amount. I’ll definitely check it out again; maybe french toast next time??!

I’ve passed by this place so much and we finally decided to stop and have lunch here. New favorite lunch spot for sure! It’s such a cute spot, and the burgers were EXCELLENT. We both got a bacon cheeseburger basket with fries and onion rings. I love onion rings and these were great. We will definitely be coming back here!

This is a nice local eatery. A place to enjoy a good hamburger, egg salad or tuna salad sandwich. Our favorite is the BLT. It comes with chips and a pickle! They also do catering. Prices are reasonable and the employees are very friendly. Not much ambiance but even the customers are friendly!

Very good. I had the steak and swiss sub, all the way, and fries. Imagine a Philly cheesesteak (hot) without the peppers and onions and the fixings of a sub. It was great. My wife had the ham and Swiss sandwich with chips, and said it was very good. Have heard this place advertised on 93.1 fm (the Lake ) and decided to try it out. If you haven’t tried them do so.

Drove about 20min to get food. I run an errand only to get home and discover I was given the wrong order. I call the store, speak with the manager and she determine that the worker gave me the wrong order. She then asks if I want to come back and pick it up? I order it while I was out, why would so want to drive another 40min to get the food I should have been given the first time?? I go back before my next meeting. I walk in, the manager walks away. The person who gave me the wrong order gives me the right order and doesn’t event apologize! Who does that? Normally I would go off but I was too tired to argue. Not only was I not offered anything for being given the wrong order and having to drive all the way back but the food was terrible. Ordered the pancakes which were tough and not even easy to cut with a real knife. The grits taste like overcooked rice. The omelette and toast were at least edible. Ik not sure if it was because it was sitting or not but that also speak the poor service. This will be my first and last time due to terrible customer service and terrible food Disappointing and very underwhelming.

Catering menu has a great selection at a reasonable price. The mini sandwich platter we ordered stayed fresh into day 2. Highly recommend their pimento cheese!
