The idea for the Del Rancho Steak Sandwich Supreme® began in 1961. Our founder, J.R. Holt, heard that to be successful in the restaurant business you need at least one unique item on your menu, which only your restaurant offers. Two years after opening his first restaurant, Mr. Holt had a vision for a variant of a hamburger. It would be a sandwich, a steak sandwich. A sandwich like no one else had ever seen. That day began a long experimental process that lasted three years. Finally, in 1964, it was complete, and Mr. Holt introduced his “masterpiece” menu item. Del Rancho has been serving its unique and delicious menu items ever since!

Walked in it was 105 degrees outside and no air conditioning inside, couldn’t get my order right, I ordered my food to dine inside they gave it to me to go I didn’t get my French fry’s even after complaining, my server had a bad attitude. All of the del ranchos I’ve been to in Oklahoma have had good service except for this one. I will skip this one to go to the Nicoma park location because of the bad attitudes and lack of respect for customer service.

I always enjoy the food and Excellent customer service at this location. But on 07-14-23 I visited the location and decided to dine in for the first time and I was very disappointed at how Hot and Humid it was inside I had to get my food to go anyway. Those young Men and or Women working there always have the best attitudes and always give the best customer service they at least need fan’s or something while working.

Probably won’t visit here again after they repeatedly told me that they didn’t have boiled eggs for the salad. They kept trying to fix it which is nice and all but they were so focused on the eggs they forgot about everything else that I requested. No salad dressing for the salad. No crackers for the salad. Not a good experience. Took about 15 minutes just to place my order because of being short on help. The young man was literally running back and forth from the counter to the drive-through. He even had to run outside and back. I felt sorry for him. Finally I ordered a Chicken Sandwich Supreme only to be told that you were out of chicken. I then ordered a fish basket. It was okay.

Restaurant was dirty apon first walking in. Stk. Sand was lacking in size ,over cooked meat, unfresh lettuce and over ripen tomatoes to much mayo on bread it oozed out the sandwich and down hand. Unlike any del Rancho I have ever experienced. Come paired to may other times not at this location, the cook just took no time to care for what he was serving. It was horrible. I’ll never go again. The drive thru guy with red beanie hat was sweet and fast and customer friendly with us. Food was not at all good.

The food was excellent the service was good the atmosphere was nice the employees were not educated in the process of discounts especially Veteran discounts the cashier had processed the order before applying my discount and used that as a excuse for me not getting it on a $35.00 order.
