Since opening in June of 1990, we’ve made it our daily mission to provide an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. We’ve implemented many changes and upgrades to Tidal Raves in an effort to better accommodate and better serve you, most recently by adding our bar in 2015. In addition to our carefully chosen wine list consisting primarily of west coast wines, we now offer a selection of craft beer and cocktails including our own barrel-aged recipes.

We were camping nearby and craved clam chowder. Our dog was allowed outside with us while we ate and enjoyed a beer. The view is beautiful and the food excellent! The inside has a spectacular view and modern, simple decor. I had clam chowder and steamers and my husband had crab salad, all was great. We’ll definitely visit again!

From the get-go the staff was friendly, accommodating, and made excellent recommendations. The food was great, (Husband orderd the Pasta Rave with creamy pesto & I got the Green Curry), the view was unbeatable, and our waitress was our favorite on our trip! (shorter gal, dark hair, and very sweet smile! We loved her!) Great experience, overall!

Tidal Raves Seafood Grill definitely deserves a five-star review, and it is the BEST seafood restaurant I have visited so far in Oregon. It sits on the coast of Depoe Bay and offers a spectacular view of the Pacific. The food is fantastic, and we loved every single dish we ordered. Our top three would be: 1. Pan-Fried Oysters. These oysters were super fresh and not greasy at all; 2. Green Curry with fish and shrimp. The rich coconut milk with some spiciness boost the flavor of the curry so much that reminds me of Mama’s Fish House in Hawaii; 3. Cioppino. Five different seafood simmered in tomato broth with a touch of herbs to freshen it up. Steamed clams and The House salads with shrimp and vinaigrette are delicious as well. Superb location, friendly staff, amazing food. What else can I ask for?

The food was quite good – the seafood items as well as the steak. Service was very friendly; the server seemed very delighted every time we ordered. The view from the large windows looking to the ocean is amazing. There was quite a wait on Friday night, but they are very helpful – noting your name and texting that the table is available.

Stopped in for lunch for my birthday. The wait staff was on top of things during our whole meal. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and the food was delicious. My son and I had fish tacos with rice and beans and husband had a rock fish sandwich. The salmon chowder was ridiculously good. Their fresh bread and that would have been a meal for me. The fish was outstanding! So tasty! Good thing we arrived early because it was filling up fast when we were leaving. Parking in front is very limited.

So good. So very good! We got the Seahawk bread app, seafood linguine, green curry, pulled pork sandwich and the halibut special. All were EXCELLENT. The cocktail list is extensive and those we tried were so good. And the view can’t be beat. Honestly one of the best restaurants I’ve been to.

We really enjoyed stopping here for lunch while in Depoe Bay after a whale watching boat ride. Little did we know we’d be able to see whales from the big picture windows at Tidal Raves. Aside from the gorgeous view the food was fantastic. We had the cioppino which was chock-a-block with seafood and we also tried the Wild-caught shrimp and Dungeness crab cocktail and avocado fries all of which were excellent.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. They don’t take reservations, but they do have a waitlist. We drive in from Salem and called ahead to add our names. We were an hour out and they said it’d be an hour wait. We got there and were seated in under 5 minutes. Our waitress was very kind and even took my drink back with no charge since I just wasn’t enjoying the one I ordered.
