I’ve been a long time supporter of Papa Murphy’s over the years and it truly pains me to have to give such a bad review. I contacted the corporate office with my complaint, case number 00840019, they suggested I get in touch with the Georgetown management as they didn’t seem to want to be bothered by it. I ordered 3 pizzas and a mini murph this last Sunday, the 25th of June. I picked up the pizzas, had to wait for the mini murph, they had none made up, when it was ready, it went on top of the stack of pizzas and I headed home, just outside of the Waco area. Low and behold when we got home, baked the pizzas, we started noticing there were a lot of toppings missing (see photos). We had a large pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni but only had regular amount on it. We had a family size half and half with extra pepperoni that it didn’t come with, not to mention, there was supposed to be olives and mixed onions on one half that got no olives and the mixed onions were missing green onions. The last pizza was a Murphy’s combo that was missing 4 toppings, it’s like they ran out and thought that’s good enough. The combo was missing sausage, olives, green onions in the mixed onions and no cheddar cheese on top. After spending over fifty bucks on pizza, they also charged me for a little side of pineapple to go with the mini murph.

Unfortunately this is my last visit to this location. All the 1 Star reviews are on point. After calling my order in 15 minutes ahead of time mid afternoon, not only was it not ready but I had to endure another 10 minutes of the Staff talking smack (infront of me, my adult son, and another customer) about my order and how I seemed “confused” on the phone because I called the cheese bread cheese sticks. Then they couldn’t figure out how to make my pizza because it “wasn’t on the menu” and I must have an “old menu” and how she couldn’t call me to verify my order because I didn’t give her a phone number. At no point did she ask for a phone number…. only my name. The computer printed out the list of ingredients on the pizza I ordered so I’m unsure what the confusion was…. it’s the same as ordering a custom topping pizza. The pizza I ordered was still in the system so obviously it was still available to order.

My favorite Papa Murphy’s! They are always a pleasure and prepare the most perfect pizza. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and they greet you with a smile. We frequently order the Chicago Style-Stuffed pizza, two layers of Original Crust stuffed with salami, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, mixed onions, whole-milk mozzarella, and traditional red sauce topped with green onions, roma tomatoes, mozzarella, cheddar, and red sauce and, y’all, it’s the best!

Ordered 2 pizzas on line at 5:44. Got email saying 31 minutes. Sounds fine, as that’s what it always says, even though they are usually ready to pick up early. Got there at 6:13 in the drive through. Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to window, only to be told it would be about 10 minutes. Waited 15 minutes, then went inside, only to find out that they hadn’t even begun to make my order. No explanation, no “sorry”. At this point, I said forget it, and left.

We have tried to like this place, but tonight was the last straw. Ordered FULL PRICE pizza to pick up at drive thru. Paid via the app with a tip included. When we got there in the alloted 30 minutes, they said they didn’t have order and to park and go thru later. An hour later we were forced to stay in drive thru to get them to make our pizza. We showed copy of receipt on line. They took at least 20 phone calls and waited on even more walk ins while we waited. We’re done after MANY years of using PM in several cities. There are better ways to be handle being short handed. There needs to be a serious manager at this place!

Ordered 4 pizzas at noon for 2:00 pick up, arrived at 2:15 and had to wait 15 minutes for her to finish building them. The pizza were OK, probably better than frozen pizza, but if so, not by a lot. As for atmosphere, you walk into a very sparse waiting/order area that has nothing to make waiting more pleasant. I decided to wait in my car and was disappointed that the girl didn’t open the door and wave at me when the order was ready. I might use them again, but I won’t look forward to it.

Every time I go to a big city I look for a Papa Murphy. Their pizza has the best quality toppings and absolutely delicious. Even though you have to cook it at home, it is hands down the best pizza over ALL other pizza places.
