I’ve only eaten at Poke Jon’s once and the shrimp bowl tasted great but really this review is for Sake Jon’s. Brought my girlfriends from out of town here and had so much fun. Variety of drinks to choose from and the Bartenders were super friendly and the atmosphere was fun. Highly recommend making the stop here.

My mom and I visited Poke Jon’s restaurant and its fabulous tiki bar a few weeks ago when we were in Blue Ridge. Our meals were tasty and the fish was super fresh. We each got the build-your-own poke bowl option with tuna and spicy salmon. But my favorite thing about this place was the connected bar and its patio area. The tiki drinks were well-balanced, beautiful, and delicious, and the space was decked out in Hawaiian-style decorations. We had the opportunity to talk at-length with one of the owners, as we visited during off-peak hours. He and his wife who were crafting new cocktails were so hospitable! Poke Jon’s was a fun and unique twist on the small-town restaurant/bar, and I can see why it’s a favorite of locals! Such a fun experience!

I eat a carnivore / meat-based diet and Poke Jon’s has been the best restaurant to eat at since starting meat-based 9 months ago. You can buy just meat by the pound (called poke by the pound) with a sauce on the side. I choose crab, but other options were salmon, tuna, and trout.

Food was good. Service was friendly. The outdoor seating was very pleasant even with it being hot outside. The umbrellas provide good shade and the fans provide good airflow. Felt like we were sitting on someone’s Planck porch just hanging out. Only issue was that there was nothing out to help deter bugs. My sister got bit by several mosquitos and there were several flies hanging around our food. Overall, great experience.

When my husband and I arrived in Blue Ridge, Georgia most of the restaurants taking reservations were full and the wait times were long. I did a quick google search for another place to eat at and saw this one. It’s a small little place that mainly attracts locals I’ve heard from the woman serving me. She was super nice by the way. I ordered the spicy salmon poke and it was delicious. The fish tasted fresh.
