My dad and I have been coming to the cape for years and had never been to Skippys until a local recommended it. We got there around 7:45 pm and sat outside by the water! It was a great patio. We had cocktails and dinner plus desert.

I’m very positive when I go to try a new place and especially if nobody recommend me. So, this place is nice indoor and outdoors but the menu has not many choices and everything is so expensive. My suggestion would be: choices of sides, almost everything is served with French fries and I know how is the culture, but pay too much por a lot of French fries doesn’t make sense. We spent last evening at this establishment. The food was very good; clam chowder, cod fish fry and lobster ravioli. The drinks were good but a bit overpriced, in my opinion. Our server was Julie and she was a doll, excellent. We had also purchased tickets to the comedy show which began at 8:30. Two of the three comedians were real good. The middle one struggled horribly. Overall I would recommend Skippy’s although I do believe the prices were a little steep. We did have a very enjoyable evening.

We ate here 3 decades ago, and it is still the same, great!! Can’t say enough about the quality of food, service and relaxing atmosphere. We’re so glad everything was unchanged. Did I mention the food was delicious and the service was great.

Skippys was generally an awful experience. We came to the restaurant as a last resort and couldn’t have made a worse decision. The food seemed at the time of eating like a painfully below-average offering with issues like underseasoning, strange flavors, and overcooked meat. The clam chowder seemed like it came from a can, and the lemonade we were served was literally country time mix with tap water. The service was equally as unimpressive and we experienced a rude interaction with a staff member after she spilled a tray of leftover food and water onto one of my party members. This was genuinely one of the worst dining experiences I have had in years. And all for double what you hoped it would cost to choke down. All of this not to mention the instant nausea that set in shortly after leaving the building. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Their brand new deck is BEAUTIFUL over looking the Marina. The lawn area has Adirondack chairs and is beautifuly landscaped! I had the most delicious pina colada and the service was top notch! I had a caser salad which was very good. You must go and enjoy an afternoon or evening on the deck!

I can’t say if the food is good or not because we did not eat there and the only reason we did not eat there it was because it was the end of our vacation and we really just didn’t have the money but the atmosphere was absolutely beautiful you could sit near the windows and you can see the the boats outside in the water and the deck and it was it was just beautiful but the money was a little too much for the food that they were serving it all look delicious though and like I said the atmosphere inside was gorgeous
