The greeting we received when we came in was wonderful and very inviting, we felt welcomed. Service was slow and not attentive. My wife’s lunch was really good though bread was not served, she had to ask for bread and it came out cold and stale (or seemed stale). My stromboli was disappointing. The dough wasn’t crisp and tough. We were looking forward to eating here, this was my first time, my wife has been there before.

I don’t like many Italian restaurants because I’m not a big fan of pasta but this is my go-to place when we’re up in the area and the other night did not disappoint. Linguine with clams was excellent and we took home a sicilian pizza that was even better. Plus..there is always enough to take home for another meal.

Had a wonderful group lunch for 40 people. Room was great. Service was attentive and quick and the food was outstanding! Vegetarian options for those who wanted it. This place is at the top of my list!

Our last visit was disappointing! We ordered linguini with mussels and calamari, a crab bisque, some fried calamari, and a stromboli. The mussels had a strong fishy smell. The fried calamari was too crispy and had a taste that resembled pork rinds. We couldn’t finish the crab bisque because it had too much tomato sauce. My stromboli didn’t taste that great either. The texture and flavor of the dough wasn’t that appealing, but I can’t exactly describe why. In general we paid a lot of money to be disappointed. We used to love this place and ate here frequently. We decided to come back after a long period away and there was a noticeable change in the quality of the ingredients and the flavors of all the dishes…not just a single order. It was a Friday night, and the place had a lot less folks than what we expected. In the past, we needed to wait at least 45 minutes for a table to open up. That in itself tells a story. It’s a shame because I know those chefs can deliver much better food than what we received! Maybe it’s time to throw in the towel!

Huge portions. I would have taken it home but I didn’t love my dinner. I got the gnocchi pesto, there was chunks of uncooked garlic in every bite, it was just too much. The calamari was really rubbery.

The place is not much to look at, and I almost didn’t go in as a result. I am sooo glad I did though. The food was super tasty, the portions were huge and the staff were super friendly. I would declare it the best home style Italian food in the area.

This could have been a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, I experienced an issue with my order. My favorite Italian dish is Chicken Marsala. I’ve ordered it from numerous italian restaurants, and for the most part, the dish has been pretty consistent. I even make it at home occasionally using chicken or veal. I ordered the Chicken Marsala. When the dinner arrived, I was very impressed with the portion. The chicken was very tender and moist. However, the Marsala sauce served on the chicken and side pasta was drowning in a soup like consistency. Marsala sauce should be a slightly thickened sauce, so it clings to the chicken and pasta. Here, the soup like sauce just drained away from the pasta and tasted like I was eating pasta without any sauce at all. I asked the waitress if the cook could drain the soupy Marsala sauce and slightly thicken the sauce. When she returned, it appeared that they merely drained the excess soupy sauce and re-served the dish. Neither the waitress nor manager checked with me to see if I was satisfied. Maybe the cook was just having a bad day?
