I just have to say, this establishment is quaint and very clean. The service is pretty quick and they are very professional. Normally salads are just something to “tie” you over till your next meal but listen, these salads right here have a touch of God or something in them and keep you full. Delicious, fresh, and generous portions! The options to customise are great value, adaptable for people of all diets, and uniquely tasty! I even found myself craving it the next day. The owner is also such a sweetheart, and it’s a great opportunity to support black owned business. This is definitely where I will be going for lunch anytime I’m back in downtown Louisville!

A hidden gem, the Salad Chic is a pick-you-toppings salad place with fresh ingredients and plenty of toppings to choose from. They like to pile up the ingredients so I always get a ton of food for the price. They also have assorted teas and drinks, as well as soups and wraps. I really enjoyed meeting the owner and her family. It’s a true family place that treats people like a part of their own. Love it!

If you have not tried the salad chic you are missing out! I got a chicken ceaser salad, the chicken was a very generous portion with tons of flavor and juicy! I appreciate the salad dressing was on the side, everything was fresh and wonderful. Thank you salad chic for a wonderful lunch, I will sure be back.

Got a delicious, colorful salad for $10 which included heaping portions of 5 toppings! Service was fast, the food was DELICIOUS and I actually had too much food for one sitting… a SALAD! The owner and her family are awesome. Can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. Local & Black-owned business!
