Thought Gen Tso would be a bit different in China Town….but it was…Gen Tso. I suppose should have ventured a bit further afield in my taste. The chicken was cooked perfect but it wasn’t spicy. Sticky rice and broccoli rounded out the dish. Both were perfect. I suppose it was a perfect Gen Tso although a bit on the mild side.

Average for the area, wanton soup was good value for money, pork dumplings looked a little undercooked (red meat) and the individual meat dishes were a little bland and quite greasy. Decent enough selection of Asian beers though.

Had a wonderful meal in Chinatown. Split chicken lo mein and some pork and leek dumplings with my friend! The wonton soup and hot and sour soup were perfect for the cold winter night. Great selection of food. This place can get pretty crowded though, so arrive before the big dinner rush around 5-5:30. Service is fast!

Very cute restaurant with friendly, efficient service. TERRIBLE food. Sesame chicken had odd flavor. Shrimp dumplings were very fishy (I hope I don’t get sick from the one I had). All dumplings super chewy and gooey, not fluffy or delicate (or fresh tasting). Stopped in here because my son wanted Wonton soup but the picture on the menu looked strange so we didn’t even order it. Hate to say it but no Chinese patrons is a bad sign in the middle of Chinatown.

The restaurant is relatively big comparing to other Chinese restaurants nearby. The decor looks out of date. The carpet needs some deep clean or completely replaced. We came here on a Sunday afternoon at around 4pm. The restaurant was not too busy so the food came out quickly. We ordered Shanghai style stir fry rice cake, sautéed smoked pork. They were tasty and authentic. The ingredients were fresh. The spicy cabbage was a disappointment though. It was not spicy at all and too sweet. The service was okay.
