Excellent BBQ. Brisket was moist and flavorful. They have awesome jalapeno bombers stuffed with brisket and cheese. I will be back. Note: bring cash or they will add a charge for using debit or credit card and I saw NO sign stating this. Didn’t notice until after I left.

Brisket is delicious… Moist and smokey. Brisket tacos were great. Flour tortillas are made in the restaurant, and the brisket sandwich is loaded. The bread was sweet and buttery. It took both of us to finish that sandwich. Brisket did not need BBQ sauce. Beans were very good, and I was surprised with how tasty the green beans were. Potato salad was mustardy, which I like. Unsweet tea was weak and unimpressive. Staff was friendly and made good recommendations. Restaurant was clean and simple… Maybe a little too simple.

This was my experience . I recommend you try it for yourselves . So I stopped by with high expectations based on others reviews . Because I frequent other really good bbq joints in the RGV , I decided to order the moist , as I usually do . Well this one was a lot more fat than I am used to getting . The actual meat was tough and dry . The corn on the cob was a dirty yellow/brown colored and not tasty at all . The sausage link was extremely dry and overdone . I ate as much as I could because I paid 20 dollars . Didn’t touch the corn after the first bite . I give it 2 stars because maybe it’s my fault for having higher expectations . Maybe I’ll try the ribs and the lean next time with a different side .

I stopped by for some BBQ and it was delicious brisket and chicken in the picture with Mexican rice and potato salad it comes with bread some pickles and onions. I ordered a jalapeno popper and some sausage and they were also delicious. I recommend you give them a try if you want some good BBQ.

We enjoy this barbecue restaurant. Great brisket sandwiches, poppers are big and brisket filled, the lemonade is REAL, the staff is friendly, they could use more parking, the brisket plate is cut to 1” inch thick , the Spanish rice is the best I have had in Harlingen, TX. The nachos are very good.
