One of the few authentic ramen shops near me. Near is very relative here. Solid ramen offerings at a reasonable price. There are quite a few add-ons, but only one worth it is the egg. Everything else is a bit over-priced. They have specials like tan tan men, which is ok, nothing that noteworthy. It is a nice change of pace. Good serving size, if im famished ill get some extra noodles. The ramen is sometimes criticized as very salty. I think those people forget that the style is shio ramen, which literally means salt. Food is served fast. Not that much seating though, largest table can barely fit 5. Place is pretty bare bones, which is fine since the food is good. Very important: you won’t get seated unless your entire party is there.

The ramen was hot and tasty. Gyoza good, too. I was very impressed the ramen soup. It was chanpon ramen, it had a lot of fresh sea food. Very healthy ramen. I had a good dinner there

The noodles were perfect texture and consistency. However, the soup was not good at all. Bakudan Ramen was supposed to be spicy but it was not spicy and very watered down. The stamina ramen was very very salty leaving my mouth dry as a desert. We waited 30+ minutes for our ramen. Limited cramped parking and towing signs everywhere. There was 1 hr street parking if you’re lucky to find a spot. The place was pretty small but they did have good service. Overall, cons just outweigh the pros. Would not recommend and would never come again.

Beware of VERY limited parking. Watch out for tow signs. Pretty busy and food took a while to come out. The Sapporo style noodles were delicious – love the texture; boiled to the perfect chewiness. Stamina ramen broth was a bit salty but otherwise tasty. Bakudan ramen wasn’t spicy.

We USED to love this place but we just ordered takeout and WOW- very disappointed!!! For $42 for 2 Ramen Soups they didn’t even fill up the takeout containers of the broth plus they forgot to put the poached egg in one!! They also charge .25 per takeout container and I noticed the toppings that you get when eating at the restaurant were NOT in the takeout version!! I remembered LOVING this soup (we ordered “Stamina”) but this time the flavor was way too salty!! Also, we called a few months ago to ask what the specials were (which are not on their very incomplete and crooked menu photo on their website) and were answered in a very annoyed and sarcastic manner!

One of my go-to ramen spots in MoCo. Most of their ramens from this place is pretty good, but my favorite is shoyu ramen. I also tried their stamina, spicy miso, and chanpon ramens and they are delicious. I noticed that sometimes the food is a bit saltier than normal, but usually they are okay. Parking is terrible here tho and the place is in a sketchy neighborhood, so careful where you park here. The last time I visited this place, they only accept cash. It might have been changed recently, but always double check. Service can be hit or miss. Depends on who works there, the service can be attentive or lazy. Overall, it’s worth to try this place!

Absolutely wonderful. We came in at the tail end of their lunch hours. One of us got the Tonshio with an egg, and the other got the vegetarian miso omori with an egg. Service was great and polite, the broths were excellent, the noodles and fixings were perfect, and we left satisfied but not overly stuffed. Highly recommend!

I always have a delicious experience here. The ramen is the best I have found on the east coast so far. The noodles are yummy and the broth is flavorful Ren’s is a small mom and pop kinda place and they won’t seat you till all your party is present. They have some great specials so check out the special menu on the board, special drinks, toppings and ramen. Can’t go wrong with this place!

Used to come here regularly. If you order to go they put the broth separate from the noodles for you to mix at home. A few years ago I went for dine-in with a small group. I asked if the noodles could be on the side and they said no (though they do that automatically for take-out). So I asked if I could just get it to-go instead. And they were obstinate about not separating the noodles (though they are already prepared separately) And said I could do to-go but then I would not be allowed to eat it at the table with the rest of the group, I would have to leave. ABSURD customer service and very rude about the whole thing. Haven’t returned since.
