The food here was delicious. The steak was very seasoned and that’s rare for most hibachi places I’ve gone to. I loved the bold flavor! Service was pretty good considering they are short staffed. If you go, be patient and they will take care of you. Fyi, you seat yourself.

Went back to Wasabi once again. I swear I go almost weekly now. This place is a must if you love fresh ideas and fresh flavors. The sushi chef is a true artist. Please don’t cheat yourself of a true gastric nirvana experience, be willing to order one of the special creations off the board instead of limiting yourself to the menu. If you are lucky enough to go when they are not busy ask the chef to make you something of his choosing. Word has it the fried cheesecake for dessert is amazing but I have never had room to try it. The appetizers are also delicious. I have never regretted anything I’ve ordered here! Plus friendly service…this place is a win-win. Go often enough and you will be like family.

I haven’t had affordable and quality Japanese food in a while. The bento lunch box is guaranteed to fill you up and the flavors are thoughtful. I’m from Raleigh and out there people don’t know what good and affordable food means. There’s a Waiter there, tall and very polite I didn’t catch his name but when you meet him you’ll know . The one who’s beaming with hospitality and love.

We are back at the sushi bar with Chris as our sushi chef. After some chit chat about His favorite NFL team we got serious about our rolls. I pressed him to make me a roll he discontinued and it was amazing. BUT, then my son pushed for our next round to get the Angela roll. All I can say is…..it was FIRE! When closed with the cucumber and toro tuna. All I can say is a great night with a great meal and sushi chef. Oh, did I mention we drive 4 hrs to eat Chris’ sushi??
