New owners snd new menu – and this time the kitchen does know what they are doing! The place was not busy for a Monday night so we had our choice of seats. Sat at the bar which gave us a great view of the river. Service was friendly and professional, beer was cold and the smash burger was as good as any I’ve had. The others had burgers also, and there were no complaints from anyone. Seating is equally divided between inside and outside, so you should be able to enjoy your meal.

Riverside Johnny’s is a great outdoor bar/restaurant. Plenty of seating where you can see the water. If you time your dinnertime just right, you can view an amazing sunset. The food is good and the service is amazing. The bartenders are friendly and always make sure your drink is never empty. They have live music. The band LuvU was playing when we were there. They were a nice background band with catchy songs. Overall Riverside Johnny’s is a fantastic place!

What a great find!! The whole place is totally renovated and new, the large screen tv wine great for NFL kickoff, since they said they have the NFL package. Lane was amazing (yes like Louis Lane she was Super lol) loved the CTRA large wings (I liked the Korean BBQ) and the atmosphere was 10/10

So glad we found this place on the river. Wanted to take my mom some place special for lunch and we were greeted and seated promptly. Service was great. Atmosphere was nice and tropical. Wait staff was smiling and happy. The frozen margaritas were delicious. We shared a cold shrimp cocktail with jumbo shrimp and my mom said it was the most delicious shrimp cocktail she’s ever had. The grilled grouper sandwich was fresh and tasty served with french fries that were hot and crispy. We’ll definitely be back.

Finally an owner who has transformed this space into a winner. Immediately when you walk in the door your senses are pleased as it looks good, smells good, sounds fun and the amazing tastes are soon to come. Our bartender was fun and a master at his craft. The food is chef driven high quality. Beautiful views of the river and live music. This will now be a regular stop for my wife and I as well as happy hour with the boys. Try the spicy, skinny margarita, the Dragon and the strawberry margarita. Calamari, shrimp, fish dip, and burgers insane.

Ok, probably the best burger I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. I had the Daytona Double Double, the bun was toasted perfectly, the burgers were cooked perfect and juicy. The lettuce, pickles grilled onions and secret sauce with melted cheese really brought the burger together. The fries were crispy as well and amazing. But the crown of the dinner was definitely the cocktail. House Old fashioned, made with markers and definitely made the correct way. None of that muddled fruit at the bottom of the cocktail that any bourbon drinker fears when ordering a cocktail. All for $7, at Happy hour!! Now that I raved on the food I have to say the server Hunter did a great job, our glasses were never empty and she was always pleasant and present to make sure everything was great. Great Job Hunter 10/10 Highly recommended. We will definitely be back. P.S My in laws had the chicken sandwiches and were very impressed too!!!

We came with a large group and wanted to sit outside as soon as they opened on 6.10.23. Kitchen mgr said he was short staffed and couldn’t seat us outside. We said we would wait but that wasn’t an option. My heart went out to this guy. He was playing cook, manager, wait staff and running for the bartender. He ended up being the one to take our orders and I believe there was only one other waitress on duty. I cannot imagine how difficult it is to find reliable people, especially in a college beach town. I can say the food was off the charts perfect!!! Everyone had something different on the menu and everyone walked away raving about how great it was. I will be back and I will continue to tell people about this place. I pray this place stays for years to come.

Great lunch today for the first time at Riverside Johnny’s. Service was spot-on and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos with a side of onion fries. We sat outside with a lovely breeze. The dragon’s breath drink was absolutely the best.
