Too Fat Sandwiches opened its first store April 1, 1984. The idea was to create a quaint, comfortable place to have a delicious sandwich surrounded by friendly people. Both our Stockdale Highway and 18th Street locations have that feeling.

Very nice and friendly atmosphere help is kind. The sandwiches are amazing better than there competition Sequoia Sandwiches down the street. I had the too Fat special and a salad great combination. You can order half sandwich which is 5 inches, 8 inch or whole sandwich.

My mom and I have been going to Too Fats for over 20 years, and each time it is delicious and served with a smile. Amazing selection of sandwiches hot or cold with all kinds of meats, cheeses, and toppings sandwiched between their AMAZING to make you happy. Walking in everything was clean. The cashier was very friendly and patient considering it was my first time here. I got a turkey with American, a pastrami and a kids meal tuna. Kids meal came with sandwhich, chips, cookie, and a drink and an activity pack that included crayons and stickers. I would definitely suggest this place if you’re craving a sandwhich

Probably the worst place I been too. This lady with curly golden brown hair was the most snobbiest person. Like I literally went for a sandwich and felt like I was pulling teeth from the sand which artist for a simple Turkey sand which. Like good bye I’ll take myself to subway.

I’ve been here quite a few times in the past, and something seriously wrong has happened as of late. We waited nearly 45 minutes for a beef dip sandwich, which came out cold. The beef itself was barely above bargain bin deli lunch meat quality, the dip itself was lukewarm beef broth, and I can think of about 5 other sandwich places that would do better. Even Subway would have pulled this off better, and that’s certainly not saying much. Eat here at your own risk.
